Once upon a time, before all of our ties were broken We used to try to hide our prejudice and lies unspoken Now we long for days and revisit our pasts abandoned They’re falling away, left to tell the story of our lives… If our dream dies, will I be awake enough to save it? How Can i forgive these lies that they've been telling us that we've believed so long and now that i alone must carry on maybe someday we'll see the light and that our struggles weren't in vain and all that is real, will find you my friend i tried to warn you this time but even i couldn't reach you What have you done? You know you had it all, then you threw it all away What have you done? Was there no other way, you know we're all on borrowed time and it's over now... Tell me what have you done. How can i forgive you, when every word sends you further down and everyone's a stranger When you let only leeches and fools come around those dark thoughts can't torture your mind if only you let them in sometimes they'll open our eyes and show us what could be sometimes they'll open our minds to things that we couldn't see and all that is real, will find you my friend i tried to warn you this time but nothing could change your mind What have you done?
