I can't find my center, though I've been Through this hall before The light is rushing past us As we open up the door The room is slowly spinning As I try and make my way To the other side beyond the gate My final resting place In the shallows, The murky light of the dawn We are shadows, Reflecting visions on these walls... We are nothing This isn't real We dance in madness Pretending the truth is revealed We are nothing Our souls are just flickering lights To be extinguished, Snuffed out by the cold hands of time. Staring into nothing Only memories survive Wading into darkness, No illusions I'm alive My life is flashing quickly through my mind & begins to fade Into the abyss, the eternal night As my being slips away What is this? What do you have in store for me now... I've given into your wishes so far One last time, I'll abide by your rule Who am I? Will there be anything left of me now? You tell me nothing and no one here knows... If I close my eyes Can I will them back open again...

Invited we walk through scattered bones The remains of the wicked Left to mingle with the unknown In the garden, left behind all I once knew I can't say I'm not excited at the thought that I'll soon be passing through And I know that these are just words Lies I tell myself when I'm alone at night And there's no one there to answer my prayers My communion of the wicked. Will this night be my last The ground is stained, a fallen lark Where trembling shadows lie The dream is lost still I'm not awake If I could only close my eyes And reach the other side of fear We wear the mark of innocence in vain... A solitary light, not a soul arounds us As it burns in my mind, Illuminating the despair It goes on into the night, The hours go by quickly Like every stranger passing By pretending not to care Now it's everywhere that I look Their faces all seem so unreal Like they're ripped from the pages of books Now they're lost and never revealed... Now the haze is setting in, And the silence begs the question... Could it be just from the wine? That we're numb beyond repair So, we slip back into the light, To hide from the shadows But they follow close behind, Whispering in our ears The light is now fading A shadow walks by my side She whispers "You must let go now" And Maridian's waiting... She tells me I'm not alone It's as if my world is coming down... Time is not worried, Doesn't care about plans The things we create Will be ripped from our hands If I can't pretend that I'm not losing this fight And all is forsaken But the memory of a slowly dissolving lie... We can't take it back No...I will not succumb I will not obey, into fires of hell I'm alone but I am not afriad I have never shown you what i AM Or what I can make out of this shell Seen from above into the world below Am I lost?
