The End of Noise
Halftime in sight soon I'll arrive I wonder if time is faster beyond the other side of twenty-nine

Said the timer to the dreamer, "The event is coming To drop all you've attained Be tomorrow, be the next day or the next few decades The wait room only holds you until they call your name" Fathom, each time I've slept I've woken Another day slips through my fingers Closing in Said the dreamer to the reaper, "Yes I fear this future Of that I can't conceive Be thеre something, be thеre nothing All bets on the latter Time never wandered back toward hours when I became" Fathom, each dawn my eyes reopen And it is they holding exclusive the medium to see Fathom the tree that never did fall Another day slips through my fingers Closing in Weeks compress To be perceived as what was once a day Elastic our concept of time It matters not The rate of the clock's actuality When I walk to rhythms of my own drum Own mind, own heartbeat Time stops as soon as I sleep Earth's last orbit Will not likely get a second chance Only counter clockwise until its end Technology Thrown in the dumpster decades past To never be picked up again Deep asleep in dreamlessness One can't mind Said the timer to the dreamer, "The event is coming To drop all you've attained Be tomorrow, be the next day or the next few decades I am waiting so self-certain Free of ill will or grace Watching you march my way" Own drum, own mind, own heartbeat Time stops as soon as I sleep Dead asleep in dreamlessness All is meaningless As it was before light shone Each step toward what's imminent On the mind again Until we finally arrive Can't fathom, each day I've slept I've woken Fathom, the fate so seldom spoken

Eyes closed, life fading away, I'm reminded The role I played, game I made for the cosmos only Supreme presence omnipotent I hold all and nothing And douse myself in earthly beings Bored My past time is the world I made wind, and rain and mist and narcissists And I've lived infinite times through each one's eyes Wealthy hedons, terminally ill infants and insects What fun is the maze if you already know the way? Game over, taking a breath pause and wonder What to play next, no need to rest for the cosmos only Lonely presence omnipotent I hold all and nothing And douse myself in earthly beings Bored Design my own maze always Design my own maze always And bleed my ups and downs to hide control Peerless and immortal in solitude What if God, alone in space so dark Plays make believe so well That he forgets himself Creates worlds and his mortality He locks himself inside and hides the key I made wind, and rain and mist and narcissists And I've lived infinite times through each one's eyes Wealthy hedons, terminally ill infants and insects Just to forget the bleak reality that I'm so alone Here I'll douse myself in fantasy so bored Design my own maze always Design my own maze always To cover up the emptiness of home Peerless, immortal in sad solitude I'll delve on in To made up words convincing myself To feel defeat, despair, triumph In this life, your victories and love Are only as strong as your own potential, lack thereof You can soar as high as you can fall below Or stall in stagnation alone

The feel and the memories Vanishing east as I wake to face a new day Like the length of a lifetime was only a reverie After death ends my dream I recall who I am To lay in the fountain only to stand in the sea A life in a dream The feel and the memories all flee A pinch of one life A blink of an eye Concedes one whole being A flickering light A notion of time And it turns out you are merely a daydream Floating out of sight I grew from the earth below One vantage point from my head That won't cease to be Reverie, reverie yes I'll miss you these seconds now But what closure does death bring if I'll die again? In awe on the hill top only to see mountain's peaks They might be in reach A pinch of one life A blink of an eye Concedes one whole being A flickering light A notion of time And it turns out you were Merely a daydream floating out of Sights of a life just experienced fade east from my mind Sentiments held with such significance fast forgotten with time Nothing mattered at all Life was inconsequential and all just moves on A pinch of one life A blink of an eye Concedes one whole being A flickering light A notion of time And it turns out you were Merely a daydream floating out of sight

To gaze upon the skyline's boundlessness And ponder wealths of life that stir so far below Remember awe before life hearkened to time? Once filled with chances, now seems finite and behind The ground I stand Until the road is closed Until the loved ones wilt away I'll be here weakening as I dread the days Until the lights shut off Sticks and stones may shatter bones But time still counts the days until their decay When the stone I threw hit the star head on I harnessed its powers, ample, and flew far Knowing then I could find more when its spell fades But skies grew sparse and tired arms can't throw far enough To reach novas that remain Until the road is closed Until the loved ones wilt away I'll be here weakening as I dread the days Until the lights shut off Sticks and stones may shatter bones But time still counts the days until their decay When my ship docked on land with fertile soil I reaped its harvest plentiful for years But then dirt dried, diminishing my worth And without fortune of its fruits I have no means to sail and start again Choosing a path to travel Your legs only can walk so far The day only lasts for so long And rain may come no matter what route you pursue Sparse skies, dirt dries On foot without purpose No stars in my eyes Dear God, disclose Reveal to me my woes Born whole, old soul My ship set sail I'll fall apart on the shoals The shore I saw Gave up its draw My life Oh my life The stars will conspire When we make the mire home Choosing a path to travel Your legs only take you so far The daylight departs in hours And rain may pour down careless of what you pursued Until the road is closed To gaze upon the skyline's bounded crest And ponder heights above where no one looks below Remember lies before your life revealed the time? A daydream's worth amidst the finite for the blind Until the road is closed
