A Swan by the Edge of Mandala
Daylight journeys across the ocean Shadows constrained by the hillside's conceal A postcard slideshow in locomotion To the sound of axles and rusty railroad steel To a flash of childhood scenery I ponder the existence of my protocol I should be feeling more than brumal apathy In the wake of Mother's curtain call Through the windowpane A structure in the distance An enclosed railway underpass Fifteen years through the hourglass Brother's waiting by the concrete gateway Eight years older, raised by impression I pursue thе shadow of his trail Eight years younger, raised in comprеssion Let yourself be eclipsed by the colossus Through his mouth independence lies Leave your childhood behind and see How it feels to be old and free So I ran To a place where inward strife could not reach So I ran His desperate cry in synch with The whistle of the train Mary's presence will ease my pain

Cast into a dream What is this pain? What is this sense of lucid sensitivity? Deafening silence Festering mist Every nerve like concrete yet so aware No entrance No escape Nothing but a vacant hallway through my mind And by its tail Guarding the wall Reflections of the trail behind me is barring my path Confronted with neglection A barren mirror on the wall As I reach out to touch its surface A familiar face emerges from the void Don't fear the road ahead For I am neither living nor dead Nothing more than reflections in the tears you've shed She's reaping what you've sown Time will heal you to the bone But never change the fact that you are all alone A seething storm from within Forgotten grief forged from your words What is this you speak of? Why does this notion pierce my heart? Trust your persistence Hindsight will not be your friend Life is too short to grasp Try grasping the end Travel with caution Ponder before you persist For when we meet again A seal of our union across your wrist Shards of glass fall to the ground Where the mirror stood, now lay a staircase spiraling down through my soul Steep cascade, shard in hand By its reach, an endless web of coffins, arranged by name Ash tree casket with my stamp Bewildered by the chasm of water within, I surrender to its call Slow descent in liquid bliss My soul unites with space and time

Peace of mind My soul is healing Deaf and blind My skin starts peeling I might have lost my mind, but I'm at ease In the shadow of my strife If I am even thinking then I must be tied to a solid state of life Wake me if you can I am lost at sea Riding the stream Lost in a dream I recall My spirit leaving Soft, yet harsh The sense of drowning A distant voice comes soaring through the room We'll guide you mind across The figure, now beside me, takes my hand I'm sorry for your loss Hear me if you can You are plummеting Bleak as it may seem This is no dream Heed my calling and bury me Wе will not meet in the flesh Face the truth Just you cry for me I will be by your side Crawling through life, but what for? All I have known fades to gray If I could feel you once more Life on this earth I would pay Into the dream I retreat To a place where the sun will not rise Trading my life for deceit Sit back and let life unfold Crashing waves and thunder I look outside my cage A place of awe and wonder For me to come of age

Wake up drenched, my head pulsating Remnants of a dream are waning Offbeat sense of disconnection Hazy shards of recollection Empty home Thoughts alone Mother's calling Future tense Common sense Fades away Failing to let go Voices from below Mesmerized, still life adrift Realized paradox Blinded by this paradigm shift Pungent taste of sweet and sour In her eyes, our darkest hour Marked for death, lost quintessence Time is no longer of the essence Empty eyes Thoughts demise Time is calling Heart alone By her stone Voice is gone Failing to let go Voices from below Mesmerized, still life adrift Realized paradox All around me Gears detaching Time unconfined All spun back In the presence of a distant dream A figure in glowing white calms my pain Let yourself be eclipsed by the colossus Inside this vessel, dreams of bygone bliss become your new existence Let go of what you know And let me clear away your grief If you can sell me the lie I'll step into this new life I beg you never to wake me up I will die by her side

Daylight journeys Across the ocean Shadows constrained By the hillside's conceal Postcard slideshow in Locomotion To the sound of axles And a strange sense of déjà vu Out of breath Out of time Present tense Out of sight Out of mind Through the lens Atmosphere as if taken from a forgotten photograph Get the sense that I'm acting on a strangers behalf Blood flows to my head as I try to walk What is this dimension I've unlocked? Out of breath Out of time Present tense Out of sight Out of mind Through the lеns Have I been locked away? Is this the light of day? Am I to blamе for my derealization? Have I ever been this cold? Have I been locked away? Is this the light of day? Am I to blame for my derealization? Have I ever been this cold?

Cold anemoia in the air Different perspective, same affair Still she's waiting by the gate Oblivious to her untold fate The dam is breaking And I fall to my knees Come with me and rest your soul Show me your thoughts and I'll make you whole Stay with me, don't fall into sorrow Let go of your fears, feel my presence and talk to me Won't you talk to me? Won't you help me guide you through the night? Years pass by Time will heal Truth recognized by its seal Whispers soften Ignorant bliss How can you forsake what you dismiss? Thе life in her eyеs God please forgive my doubts Die with me, we've had our time Hear the carillon, embrace its chime Stay with me, our union will last Let go of your thoughts, take my hand as we fade away Nothing more to say All that has been, edged into your skin Forming in my hand Shards of glass that wakes me from my retreat This isn't goodbye? Time is gone, and I cry My tears fuse with the blooming wound Before long darkness is all I can feel The sound of railroad steel I close my eyes on my fate By the gate The swan has shed its skin
