Stand in awe before the carpet of beautiful patterns of land Spread across the surface of earth Admire creatures hunting under the sun Lurking in the shadows, howling under the moon Fear the untamed mankind ruling our only home Unleash the beast, rip the fruit off the vine Defeat the bounds, evade and demise throughout the fast-flowing threads of time Hunt the ignorant preys in the night shine in the daylight, so divine Whenever the end, we’re the ones to taste the flavor of the last of each kind alive

See the signs in the sky upon earth, upon your souls, reflect in your eyes My presence upon the earth Fear not, my creations I'm here to free you The chosen bones of the past resurrect on blessed grounds The corrupt shall fall from their sky high thrones of stone Oh how we strive to be tall, to be all On this day the final word will be said as the sky shall roar, and the earth will shake My will be in your visions, rooted in your dreams My forgiveness will put your soaring heart at ease The sun will shut it's light, forever dark as night The moon will bleed and cry Too little innocence has survived

When the tide turns and the dust lays to rest Remains of the days under the sun Red skies, another flower dies Call my name, forever rain Distorted memories of the world we failed to save lay before my bleeding eyes, while I remain The ground beneath me cracks like spider veins A gate into the hollow heart of a world we learnt to crave Beneath the stones, a world we lost beyond a marble gate, into the hollow When the tide turns and the dust lays to rest Remains of the days under the sun Red skies, another flower dies Call my name, forever rain As time comes I’ll hold tight, unite my strength Call my name I will not forsake As the tide turns and the dust lays to rest Remains of the days under the sun Red skies, another flower dies Call my name, forever rain Forever rain, break that which seals the gate Countless losses for the worldwide crowd to see Intimidating, infuriating, contradicting theories It’s time to stand before the gates and embrace the gifts within the depths of the hollow and call for rain Call for rain into the hollow When the tide turns and the dust lays to rest Remains of the days under the sun Red skies, another flower dies Call my name, forever rain As time comes I’ll hold tight, unite my strength Call my name, I will not forsake As the tide turns and the dust lays to rest Remains of the days under the sun Red skies, another flower dies Call my name, forever rain

Seasons ago, in a different time we met A sky of blue, corn fields grew high, while we dreamt ahead Young and innocent, with our time and blind eyes we paid for the death of beauty beneath our comforting bed As the grieving moon hides, we can now barely see In endless winters, my heart keeps warm with you beside me Nurturing the sacred garden we grew for our souls to breath Together revive what used to be the skeleton of a tree Look around us, tell me what do you see Towers of stone blocking the sun and sea Look around, tell me what do you see I see gray, where colors once used to roam around me You gave me a shoulder to dream on Gifted me the last wild rose left in the concrete sea You were my light and compass, through shadows, a reason to be Together we watched the tree sprout and grow its first green leaves Look around us, tell me what do you see Towers of stone blocking the sun and sea Look around, tell me what do you see I see gray, where colors once roamed around me We were home in a world that’s now a far memory

Into the dark, I fall in between the dreams awakening all the mirror versions of me chaotic silence pulls me away from sanity As the sun sets, I’m left in darkness and as the auburn leaves fall dead - all I was, all I am, drained like them - drifting off the tree of life I seek for a light inside the lost mind that I forgot behind I see her there, a clear and sharp self smiling back at me As I walk through dark valleys of death, I shall not be afraid I am awake and the world is brightest as it has ever been through my eyes The one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world (free me of the twilight state - the vespertine) To the dawn of new consciousness, I awake Enlightened to a new world I embrace Into the light I walk, across the dreams I gather all the ghost versions of me accompanied by the song of the Tree of Life together they fade in peace for they shall be left behind (left behind)

Beyond the sun that kisses the sea on the horizon, far in the past Bones of a traveler hold tales of his life left to the people to pass his stories carried by the wind But tales spoken twist with time The dreamer's mind formed stories endless futures for him to cast His journeys upon the land engraved by song to them who he met and past His soul still young as he sung upon green mountains while his dreams became memories in a fairytale inside his mind After the sun has greeted the sea on the horizon, and day has passed the people sing the tales of his journeys For they shall pass his stories carried by the wind Tales sung withstand the test of time

Guided by the legend, of life up on the hill, walk the path unseen that for ages rested clear Under the shield of Gaia, her armor made of ice, embraced devoted beings to remain by her side Under so many suns that since have risen in the sky, nature's simple beauty - neglected, left to die Gaia's armor weakened, unveiled the past before our eyes Fueled with greed, a hypocrite breed We - the successors to the end of time Close our eyes, nature dies We - the inhabitants of virtual lives We unite in facing disasters carved by our hands and minds Declining features of the face of the land Defying harmony that preserves all we have Awaken once the scales tip into our laps Burning down our comforting guards As they dive into ancient soil revealed by her tears Her defenses melting into despair, Betrayed by mankind who once honored her gifts the lost settlement on the mountain unveiled Trail never spoken of Never been written of Kept under shield of ice Her secret reveals of an age buried back in time Ours is but a moment in her existence Open our eyes, Gaia fights Us - the betrayers of natural life We must cease to pave her demise in the name of progression Before our eyes revealed, remains of life up on the hill, walk the path beneath that for ages rested clear Withhold your shield, dear Gaia, wipe your tears of ice Before our eyes - your beauty, but if only we weren't so blind
