In The Shallows Of A Starlit Lake
I doused the only light there was, striving to rid you of your flaws, failings slaughtered like little lambs, but now your blood is on my hands. I regret casting you to the storm, far from all that's safe and warm, but fallacy buzzing like a swarm, inside your head's become the norm. I've sown seeds of doubt in private places, aided by half-truths concealed by my face, but when the match of self-doubt ignites, you'll warm to the glow of the gaslight. Gaslights hang in old trees decayed, swaying between the light and shade, all are mesmerized by the amber glow, where lies the truth? None can know.

Waking up. It begins. His head pinned under water. Swirling vortex, twisting colours. Shimmer above in starlight. Screams muffled. Breath cut off. He thrashes against the unseen. Lungs empty. Waves break above. Desperate. His nails dig at skin. The thrashing stops. The water still. A child's light extinguished. It ends. A mother stands alone.

An old dog skulks off, snarling. In the hackles of a dry bush, moaning. Pollen pushed into thick air, writhing. She leans against an ironwood, watching. Pulling a knife from her pocket, pulsing. Her hands dig into pale fur, tearing. Warm blood coats her hands, dripping. Blood droplets strike the ground, disappearing. Excitement creeps up her spine, tingling. Carving gobbets of the beast's flesh, bristling. Fingers rake across an exposed skull, twitching. The faint scent of lavender and blood, seeping. The neon lights of dawn, skittering. Collapsing breathless and content, smiling. A sunrise bathed in phosphorus. Gleaming. Glistening. Insects chirring.

Dragging the chain of treachery through knotted weeds into her tomb. Endure the filthy letchery, her pure heart absorbs the gloom. Not once uttering a single word Instead she sucks her thumb. She stares at him, her eyes ask why. Loveless. Numb. Her perfume seeps through cold mortar. The acrid stench of your murdered daughter. The frail specter of your murdered daughter. It rots in your sinus, the smell of slaughter. Her scent haunts your waking hours. She rots among the dead flowers. As night draws in her stare is fixed. Where you left her. Where blood and footprints mix. She carries her head in your dreams. She slits your throat in your dreams. She shows you what you fucking did. Every night! Every single night!

A lone crow caws out on the street. Wreaking havoc with her slumber. Eyes peel open aping face and sheet. Shards of sun peek through the umber. A red glint lights an empty space. Cigarette smoke deep in his lungs. Touching his face. Touching her face. Cancer crawls forth from his tongue. Perching himself on her settee. Each second seems like an hour. The one person she was loathe to see. Awaits her with a glower.

Jagged nails pick at scabs, recasting skin as stone. She whispers in his ear that soon those nails will dig through to bone. When it's your time, it's your time. And she promises he'll die alone.

In a burnt out whipstick forest. I loom over your charred remains. How does it feel you fucking cunt… To die knowing that I killed them all? Fog rolls from empty sockets. That once housed your lifeless eyes. Your face is now oozing skin. And eye sockets stained with soot. I breathe deep the righteous smoke. Inhaling your soul. Breathing in Leviathan. I will shit in your skull cunt! And smash you into pieces!
