A cathedral on the ocean floor Colours swirl to create the scene An essence, a vision, a dream Now, passing over The waves of grief gets higher and higher No longer depicts a motion of desire Tones they break through, through the water As I lay to rest upon the ocean floor Relentless pressure Is breaking me Becoming the ocean Dragged out deflated Drained of pain Drained of pain I can’t breathe I can’t breathe The fierce strangle of time has closed its grip Drenched in torment yet reaching for the light Fracture the surface Will this colossal weight lift? Crying tears like a child Those tears will protect As i sit, i imagine What's beyond this moment in time?
