What crimson eye stares upon this road? And destroys the shade of gentle rest From morning’s wound the airy blood flows To drench the earth from east to west Ceaseless you march upon your gleaming path And blaze your light inside the cracks of my mind Not ten thousand deaths can slake your wrath Or from your blinding gaze shelter mankind So to this place of pine I’ll stray Far away from your fiery rays A ghost among the trees shall I be A whispered phantom haunting children’s sleep In this castle of thorns and briars Withdrawn from the light of your fires With the ragged wolves I stamp the snow And join their hail to the moon’s glow On this hill high above the world My shadow blankets their homes To quell their fires and deaden their hearts Beneath a starry curtain unfurled A creature shall they build of me A nameless shape in lands unknown None yet dare to tread upon my realm A sylvan kingdom of fallow tree Scar me with your mark Carve the lines upon my chest Search not amid the dark Or awaken unholy rest And when the cold bears down from above To frost the soil that births the harvest Look into the night looming starless And curse all that you thought you loved Beyond the darkened clouds of sorrow From the kingdom shunned by all Thunders up the ancient call To scatter the ghosts of tomorrow

Within the jaws of earthly toil Among the dust of ashen soil She fell from empyrean halls And sculpted nature's walls Into the blackness of night Our fires burn with purified light This house of pine we set ablaze Her innocent soul to save Red embers glowing bright along the cliffs Blazing through my hallowed trees Groaning wood cracks and rifts Consumed by the human disease Her spirit severed from its home Forsaken by those she once nursed Into my lands her path did roam Thе only one who broke my curse Piеrcing through the dismal gloom We march into the earth's womb Upon broken branch and lifeless rock Fire guides us on the trail we walk To the lair of beast and shade To the place where good men stray Where all that slithers and crawls Dwell in their darkened halls Now comes ruin, now comes wrath Tempered amid your righteous flame Senseless death marks your path All so bards shall sing your name Trample the flower you came to save Consumed by your blameless hate Burnt pines shall mark her grave And the night mankind sealed its fate The blood dimmed tide cascading down Floods the hill and drowns the blaze What hellish beast strides towards our town Exhausting all life in its wake

Ancient vengeance roused from sleep A day of terror once foretold Across the world havoc sweeps Edges burn, center can't hold The wind carries our dying howls To deaf idols long past care Ripped apart by hatred’s jowls Caught in an endless nightmare Violence consumed by its own force Ever descending spirals A prison carved from marble walls The beat's rage cannot endure Scorched away to unveil his grief The hollow darkness inside of the world Collapsеd upon the hardened soil His еyes are fixed upon the sun Reversed along the heavenly coil Glimpsing a story not yet begun
