The Scars of Ages

Beautiful scars cover my broken temple. No one tried to save this, the sun's burnt out. Darkness is beginning, the sun's burnt out. No more beautiful, no more life. Hate and cries lie in a life that's deceased. Awakened by horror and screaming of dying souls. People kill themselves because they fear dying. Futile to try and stop this, your time is up. Beneath dying skies, beneath the skies the air is weary. Suffer for this, no words can describe death's bliss. The slaughter of innocence. The rain that cleanses the scars of ages.

Descending from the night sky, a shimmering tint of gold. Masses of messengers sent for blood now come forth. Descending from the night sky, a shimmering tint of gold. A rain of bloody feathers, future has been foretold. Descending from the autumn sky, behold our faithful demise As they drift through godless lands raining fire upon all man As they drift through godless lands, forever dying. Masses of messengers see now as horror unfolds. Bones are broken and lives are destroyed. Cities crumble beneath an autumn tint of gold. Demise of this land, demise of a land as I drift through Godless lands, forever dying.

Glass taints the surface where gods cry and souls decay. Shadows hang themselves to escape this place they've made. Don't worry my children, this is hell. Our souls are faced with damnation. Blood soaked gardens bound for death, to kill or be killed. They will smile in their disparity in battle. In the fields of sorrow a corpse stands alone. Childrens' mothers pray for their safety and return, knowing that they are dead. Glass taints the surface where gods cry and souls decay. Shadows hang themselves to escape this place they've made. I wonder if she was too dead to care if I taste the blood of Christ. Her heart was weak and frail. I'm drowning in the blood of Christ. Her tears now overflow, falling on hollow ground. Muffled screams escape, the gag tied around her mouth. I swallowed her soul, suffer this revenge under my dead heart. I was the devil in her only nightmare, I was the devil in her dreams. Now that she's not breathing, I've set my demons free. She is not breathing. I'm drowning in the blood of Christ. Her corpse is scarred with shame and tears. The sight induced my pain. This dead black heart once fed the smile of a girl with no name. To take comfort in yesterday's scars.
