i am at awe caught in a vortex of violence and greed their words have no meaning stray from the path turn around as they fall ever consuming white eyes and red hands turning blue into grey they simulate sentience as they feed on their origin sphere lifes elusion still death converges in clusters voices drowned within poisonous halo devouring it all i am the watcher scales are tipped to the dark side no eyes to avert a witness through ages they spread extinction what they touch will die dead landscapes under a burning sky no act of compassion what they touch will die dead oceans under a burning sky
