Up on the ground The heavy crowd Start to fall on their knees. Up on the ground A burning sound Tortures you with the heat. When the sun Lights their minds, The wind blows a silent wheeze. Up on the ground The heavy crowd Will know the end is near. Rivers that used to run Under the desert sun Count their pearly tears. Old undefended skin is covered With scales like silver spoons. Breathing through those gills will turn my Eyes into rays of doom. Up on the ground There's a land of fog That was once my home. A wheezing sound Took me here, underground, To live here all alone. I've been sentenced to watch over the ocean and the Gods who have to pay for their sins. Just sign the contract And you'll see how soon it all begins. In the deepest Bottom mud I signed this contract With my God. There is no reason To be scared. I'm underwater... Spiralhead! Living underwater, Breathing underwater... From the deepest Bottom mud I found this message. It's from the God. It said I will be Living here For another twenty Thousand years. Living underwater 20K years... A shipwreck's figurehead Is my only friend down here. Starry black summer nights Make the darkness dissapear. Reaching my head out Feels like I'm drowning in the open air. Spiral head periscope Is keeping an eye on what's out there. Tomorrow is the day When we shall see the end.

Hide or disappear Strangers everywhere Light the eternal flame Find the pick-up lane. ...and the sign told: "Choose the pick-up lane for flying!" Fly the sky of dust There's no one you can trust. Catch a falling star He will tell us who we are. ...And the Star said: "Let me take you to the ride!" Rising after moon Setting after sun breathing airless air My engine will run ...And the Star yelled: "We are the ones who fly the night!" Back to land we came There was no dust or flame Was it just a dream or not 'Cause the pick-up lane was gone. ...And the Star cryed: "Just try to get me off your mind." ..And the Nurse told: "Take those pills and go to sleep."

Laying... ...on the frozen ground. Waiting... ...for the sun to come. Staring... ...at the blinding sky. Smiling... ...'cause the time has come.
