Mirror City
A quiet night detonated over the city And life fades in the windows Photons of light break through the path that disappears A deceitful glint flashed in the eyes of passers-by This city is covered with severe veil So when will this madness end? The nerves are cut with savage groans The shroud hangs above the eyes Cries of the Heart will turn into faint stars And silence will remain forever on the face Now you can't wake up under the cloud Mind soared over the abyss of soul Infinity flashes and your own beacon puts out its dim light I paved a route to the stars And rushed with the speed of light I erected the eternal monolith Devouring all the dark The way to heaven is closed for our souls And they’ll be buried under the ground But the stars will live forever While the haze is covering us Internal pain cuts my flesh Scatters me with the earthly ashes

The City of the Void destroys all the dreams Absorbs the light and suppresses souls The gray dawn is drowning in me Filling my mind, flesh and blood My world has died in deepest sleep Pain in my body and ashes in the soul I go through the darkness silently To draw the new line of my destiny I see the darkest sign The sunset will turn me back The night will wake up the soul The blood will freeze in my veins

At the hour of atonement and oblivion I see stars The brightest light breaks skyline And rips the canvas of darkness Behold! Time is fleet for the humans But the stars aren’t eternal either (it all will end) The light touched my eyes And the star dust Bears the whirlwind of life Of new luminaries The celestial river will be spilled by the light And will show us the right path Blackness swallows the Stellar Crystal But the luminous ray breaks through thе dark The cold will open the door to thе heart And sunrise will come The empty bowl of hopes is filled with life That dirty shapes will ruin

You see the shards of glass They are like parts of your soul But they are scattered so far And you see in them reflections of the lying faces that have chosen this path The gloom again envelops your mind erasing all the hopes and dreams All your strivings turn into ashes All that is dear for you has turned into nothing Darkness overshadows more and more You cannot get out of there Now you're blind as the rest To kill or to lie - there is no difference for you In the dark there came a ray of hope, but it's too late Death does not care because there is eternity behind

I saw a field of blooming flowers And then they turned into endless graves I saw the rays and shine of the sun, but they did not dazzle me I felt the heat inside myself, but I woke up every time in a cold sweat These are just excerpts from my sleepless nights A new day comes and I'll mingle with grayness of these walls I breathe in the poisonous fog of fears and I’m going deaf of the liеs There are no bars or barbеd wires We are free from handcuffs and shackles But we are here like prisoners Here we are imprisoned forever The night again is hunting you down to satisfy its hunger Wake up! Can you hear me?
