This Cold descends upon my soul The rain falls in darkest skies Why is my pain so precious? Why are my sorrows so warm? Agony's Icey breath embraces me Buries me in sweet decay Depth of life I had not reached Panic stricken, end of me Entropy proceeding Soon I'll be ice cold, nothing left Nothing left but death Death seems now better than life This absolute suffering I've reached my end, hold me close Father Now it's gone, now it's gone This absolute suffering Changing my life, frantic, dark Screaming, agonizing Burning up what remains This world has spun apart Extinguish the life from my heart

Face down, spewing wretched bile No memory of that time A sickening reality with no escape Expose my inside This putrid hatred seeps into the dark Body strains and sanity splits apart Curses fly under the moonless sky This retching of my soul Never ending evil haunts these walls A dark cloud descends I've failed in my weakness, hope has left Surely God will uproot, replant While I wait in the mire and the mud All that's left here is what use to be Nothing left here, save what should not be Fire in the soul, bred destruction to the mind Pierce the heart, leaves what's good all for behind Save and comfort these tired eyes SoulRetch, SoulRetch Recollection of a life lost Weighed down, covered in the ash Tranquility and pain by my side Slipping away, out of my grasp Slipping away, all slipping away Drink down the death
