Heavy Is the Crown

So who's left standing? Failed icons feeble and abandoned Deities that stood so tall No longer looking down on us all Such a fall from grace Now lying in ruin, completely disgraced Count your blessings you lasted this long It's a bitter sweet swan song Heavy is the crown No one there to save you now No one, no one at all And look how far you've yet to fall Maybe you'll lament But you can't climb back from this descent You stole a part of us That we can never replace No apologies, no more chances Damage is done, now serve your sentеnce The signs werе there but we buried our heads Hard to ignore but harder to reject So hang your head in shame You're fading Heavy is the crown No one there to save you now No one, no one at all And look how far you've yet to fall Maybe you'll lament But you can't climb back from this descent You stole a part of us That we could never protect What will become of those broken memories?
