Vagabond
Hello my friend We meet again It wasn't long ago we visited the great bazaar So much has changed We did expand Had peace for a while Pleased to meet you, vagabond A lighthouse in a time of storm Going away to the city where the crowd swallows the sounds of escape Playing a minor note in a place that was made for fairytales That longing in the heart awakens the soul Going away to the city where the crowd swallows the sounds of escape Playing a minor note in a place that was made for fairytales That longing in the heart awakens what needs to get away Pleased to meet you. I'm The vagabond

In the city of burning lights Immense bridge connects two parts Where shall I go? Nomad A bell says it's time for the prayers Flowers thrown into the air Subtle wishes to find the way Nomad How can I be all alone With all those poeple around? Can't anybody hear me out Woodpecker Cracks a hole in my mind In pulses sings a longing lullaby Knock knock, who's there? Knock knock, go away now I came to conquer the land But so far I'm drowning in sand Knock knock, hear this Knock knock go away now Knock knock, you have no place here anymore How can I be all alone With all those people around? Can't anybody hear me out Just take away this bird from me Before I lose my mind Flying with two feet on the ground How can I be all alone With all those poeple around? How long can I keep on pretending That I leave nothing behind? A flute plays a gentle call To look deeper inside It's mantra lives with me Nomad

Have I told you lately dear how big the heart is That listens to the sounds of the world And all our wants, all our needs, desires and musts Are nothing to be proud of at all Have I told you lately dear how big the love is That goes without politics for all the different beings And how you do it I wouldn't know I wish I'll do the same But I'm just too weak to even care Should we change our ways In the time of your life Hit them like a wave The time of your life We will break this chain For the price of our lives Or we live the pain In the time of our lives Of so many fallen men In the time of our lives In this action game That we call it our lives

The tales of my iniquities are hanging around my neck Some rather painful black jewel that shines its crystal curse Feeling great I live among you in disguise, the snake of Eden The Boogieman, 2000 years of poisoned minds The wailing of the ibex horn will unlock the door in your heart. Where prayers can go up, up to the Lord and remedy the filth we've done. Feeling great I need not clean up, I'm satisfied I'm condemned, I'm evil inside. The great deceiver in this great bazaar In my reality you are gone A bedtime story that illuminates dark souls Living their lives as vagabonds, dancing with eyes closed. Go wear your uniform, it's time to crawl Oh mighty storm, take me along Release me from this human catastrophe But promise me that once I'm free A sweet rainbow will be here for me

Come as you are Hear the callling from afar The architect is calling you To redesign the heart In a small nameless street A catalog of hearts that fit Comes in different qualities Ribboned as a gift I opened the door And they just walked away I sought it before But that is not the way I let my old heart stay Come as you are

It seems as so little has changed In this faraway land so far out to the north. Small flat roofed houses with orange ornaments Hanging on the walls, threatening to fall. I write from a rundown hotel, neglected and cold My window watches the street, people come, people go Carefully listen as they sing the hymn of the vagabond Sometimes the clouds turn off the sun As they slowly reach down almost touching the ground. And it feels like swimming with dolphins in a pool made of sand When it's starting to rain, tripped out of my brain I write from a rundown hotel, neglected and cold. Listen to me as I sing the hymn of the vagabond, I have accepted the rules of the world but agreed to ignore them all. There comes a time when you miss the ones you love the most Time to come home. There is a time you gotta pick up your rucksack and move on How nice of you to join Singing along to the hymn of the vagabond

Ground Control to Major Tom Ground Control to Major Tom Take your protein pills and put your helmet on Ground Control to Major Tom Commencing countdown, engines on Check ignition and may God's love be with you Ten, Nine, Eight, Seven, Six, Five, Four, Three, Two, One, Liftoff This is Ground Control to Major Tom You've really made the grade And the papers want to know whose shirts you wear Now it's time to leave the capsule if you dare This is Major Tom to Ground Control I'm stepping through the door And I'm floating in a most peculiar way And the stars look very different today For here Am I sitting in a tin can Far above the world Planet Earth is blue And there's nothing I can do Though I'm past one hundred thousand miles I'm feeling very still And I think my spaceship knows which way to go Tell my wife I love her very much she knows Ground Control to Major Tom Your circuit's dead, there's something wrong Can you hear me, Major Tom? Can you hear me, Major Tom? Can you hear me, Major Tom? Can you.... Here am I floating round my tin can Far above the Moon Planet Earth is blue And there's nothing I can do.
