They come forth the vanguard of doom Vast as sight their banners of war Hear them sound their Clarion horn Trampled into the earth! Scarlet flames reach into the sky Choking embers blot out the sun Oh our cities razed ash Trampled into the earth Ruin has come for us all Steel on steel, burial ground Under their venomous gaze Visions of darkness, are visions no more! A plague to rob you of breath Behold the bringer of death Of death Of death Their death a stain on our soul Steel on steel! Blood, it shall flow Clawing our way to the grave Vanquished lie dead, trophied remains! The embers have grown cold In our barren stronghold We grow weary as the sun escapes the sky Days ago down below Lost dominion to our foes They await the scythe to cleanse us from the Earth Like razors to the flesh Down the vines to certain death We die free Through divine rite We descend into the black We may never come back We die free Through divine rite We’ve been shackled from the womb Lived our lives like men entombed Subjugated under heel and bloody lash And we toiled with sword in hand Spilling blood on Roman sands We’re a waking viper coiled around their necks Like razors to the flesh Down the vines to certain death We die free Through divine rite We descend into the black We may never come back We die free Through divine rite Rise! We are fury, we’re the end Their backs are exposed as we descend Rush - decimate their legionnaires Flay - open flesh, no one is spared Loose the arrows, charge the wall Before they sound the battle call Seize trebuchet and Roman steel Time for imperials to kneel No time to mourn what we have lost Our freedom comes at such a cost Make them beg us for their lives No quarter! No one will survive
