Time and time we’ve circled Stood still as horrid acts unfurled Dormant guilt, useless rage For the last time will we relish this age A realm so merciful and patient Now yearning to erase a species so complacent We remain no longer... Empires turn to ash and roads remain shadowed, Premonitions are futile when we behave as cowards. The ultimate veil will fall No longer will we stand tall We’ve lingered far too long in our cocoon, Become one with our mother but we died too soon. The regret and shame we feel, Will always last in our reel Dazed, cold, lonely and scared, Centuries of torment she’s fared The torch we were once given, Dies out as our bodies stiffen Empires turn to ash and roads remain shadowed, Premonitions are futile when we behave as cowards. The ultimate veil will fall No longer will we stand tall Forfeit our once sacred land Behold the pathetic fall of man Destroyers of beauty, serene Poisoned by endless acts, obscene Drink from the vile well of greed From her very soul we feed Eternal decay, it follows A sight so rich yet it’s hollow The ultimate veil revealed a future so bright Never more will we be it’s light... The ashes of empires and shadowed roads now gone, Premonitions once futile gave way to a new dawn.

After the eras of our occupation we have now withered, And here you so beautifully remain A once desolate wasteland now thrives in a sea of flora and fauna Embellishing a realm formerly tattered and bare A somber end impossible to endure Colors of a dried pallete reclaim their rightful throne Remnants of a once-reigning species reduced to nothingness The memory of them fading ever so quickly Frail remains shattered into a thousand pieces Being swept away by the wind Gone and buried in the currents of time The dawning of a new age established by relics locked away Her perennial power adorns the natural realm And so it was told, we are but lost souls Our epilogue now set in stone After the age of our long forgotten reign, Forevermore you beautifully remain
