We are the unborn you had killed / We are the women you have raped We are the poor you didn't feed / We are the slain dead at your feet. We are the bloodstains on your hands / We are the wounds time cannot mend We are the people you have enslaved / We are the ones you could have saved. We were the screams you heard that night / When all stood silent till first light We are your courage that failed that day / We are the consequence from your "nay" We are the people you've let been killed / We are the dreams left unfulfilled We are the dead of life depraved / We are the ones you should have saved. We are! We are! We are! We are! We are the children that lay dead / We are the blood that has been shed We are the victims of our time / We are the failure of your line We are the reason you'll find no rest / Why you twist and twirl inside your bed We are the burden of your guilt / We are the voice that must be heard You rode to war to preserve your wealth, but not for us, as if we were less than others. How can you pretend to sleep at night, when we lay dying at your doorsteps? (Yet) there you feast on the blood we spilled, for which you believe you'll never have to answer. 'Til you discover on your final day when Justice comes riding in his shining armour We are the voice that shall be heard!

Black is the blood that flows down from the mountains Poisoned are the veins that drench our once green pastures. We deserve our own suffering a ruined nation without a king Ashes fall like snow where once our forests stood. Whatever remains the salt will wither away. Asternas, once the glory of all the kingdoms, bright was our flame, great were the works we've made. Where foreign lords gladly paid tribute and pilgrims renewed their faith. We deserve our own suffering a ruined nation without a king Asternas, our home. Once the glory of all the kingdoms. Bright was the flame of our wisdom. Great were the works of our hands. Where foreign lords gladly paid tribute and pilgrims sought to renew their faith, but for naught. For we have forgotten the desolation from which we once were raised and beggared the people we swore to protect. Our arrogance wrought our downfall. That... and an empty throne in a ruined hall. Once we ruled as kings, glorious was our fame. Accursed is the land we once called our home. Chained down as slaves we're driven forth Clinging unto what hope our future holds Who will end our suffering? who will become our new king? We've forgotten the desolation we once were in, we beggared the people we swore to protect. Our arrogance had wrought our own downfall and an empty throne in a ruined hall.

My brother what have you done? Victory was in our grasp. I can not understand why you have betrayed me. We were close to our goal. Now it is all but lost. Don't you understand you gave them what they wanted? My brother I want to forgive you, but I don't know if I can. after what you've done to me. My brother what have I done, to deserve your wrath My mind cannot grasp what made you turn against me Have I wronged you in the past or do you hate me just because I never tried to live up to your expectations? We believed things differently, but I never saw you as my enemy What.. . What have I done to become yours? I thought we both longed for the glory of Asternas restored but now none of us will live to see that day I hear them fighting in the streets, Didn't know our walls were breached. What...What's happening, why are you standing still? Are our own men fighting each other? Why are you still standing here? Run! Run away before you die with me! I'll leave this world with just one regret I never told you how what you meant to me. Though I die, I hope that fate will be kinder to you, But I see in your eyes a craving for the throne that should remain forlorn.

They march to ruin, the ground trembles beneath their feet. Their wrath is upon us for all the wrongs we have done to them. Woe to our children if we should fall Who would answer when they call? Will we hear them before we die? When we’re cut down, will they cry? They march to ruin, they've come to set our world aflame. They'll show no mercy for we've never given them some Fueled by the hatred of the one they should have scorned, to slay the ones they once had loved. Curse the usurper that sent our kin to wreak our doom, he laughs as they march to ruin. All we once were will fade away Nothing will remain to remember us by They march to ruin, their drums announce our doom. They march to ruin, the ground trembles beneath our feet

In a time of hatred and despair, I was blinded by the veil you had cast over me. I will not submit to the terror you'd unleash if I don't do as you please I have grown tired of you telling what's best for me, for everytime I follow you I find myself (stuck) in misery. I will draw the line. And you happen to be on the other side of it. I am not afraid of you, but I'd rather not see your face For every time I think of you, I'm reminded of my disgrace. Every day I’m haunted with what I could have done, but how can I defeat myself for I am my own enemy? This life has to end, but not in the way that you might want it to. You try to persuade me to turn away from what’s best for me, but now I know I must continue for I want to be freed of you. This is where it ends and I no longer care wether you agree with me! You talk of freedom and glory, yet what makes you think I am a blind man? I have seen the fruit of your wisdom, its foul stench wakes me from my pleasant dreams. what you think will set me free, binds me down in misery. Once you may have ruled as king, but now suffer my new allegiance! I'll drown you, my nemesis. your reign is ending. Now you (will) die! I am not afraid of you, but I'd rather not see your face For every time I think of you, I'm reminded of my disgrace. The battle has been won, but I still have the memories of all I have done, You were my worst enemy, but now I'm free to turn into a different man than I otherwise would have been. The memories fade with every choice I make differently and even if I fail you're no longer controlling me and one day I’ll forget you.

Arise my brethren, why are you lying down? The fight is here now, why won't you take your sword? Death is final if you won't rise. Rise or fall. To rise or fall. I know your melancholy feeds your self pity, but now is not the time. You're not the only one, who'll suffer when you fail. Rise or Fall. Your mind is caught by the deception you will fail again and again. You believe you are a coward. Have no fear, victory can be yours if you'd only rise and use the sword that was given you Arise! Dwell on your failures and you've already lost, don't linger in regret. Damn your pride, you know you need help. Don't deny your failures or you will do them again. You think you 're standing, but you've been misled. Arise or face your ruin.

I remember she smiled alot, but when I looked into the eyes she got I saw the pain she would not share, she believed that noone ever cared. I hoped she would open her heart to me, but through her tears she was too blind to see that I was always there for her even though she never cared I would have carried your burden, if you just had let me in. She laughed out loud when they threw her out through the window I heard them shout, She was beautiful in my eyes and I loved her as she died. And then they blamed me for it all, that I was the reason of her fall, like it was my fault the whole time, but it was their doing not mine. I would have carried your burden, if you just had let me in. Every day I wonder what I could have done more to help you, But you wouldn't show me your tears, all my words fell on deaf ears. You were the world to me, I really wanted to set you free . But your smile was just for show, you made up your mind long ago, Every day I wonder what to do with those who had hurt you, Which is why I'll have to let go before the anger consumes my soul. Know that I loved you then and that I love you even still, but I can't let you drag me with you, lest I would no longer be the man you knew Everyday I wondered what I could have done to help myself, but I didn't show you my tears, your words didn't fall on deaf ears. You were the world to me, I really wanted to be set free. But my smile was just for show, I made up my mind long ago.

Maggots, is what you were when I found you trampled and broken by the tyranny of the man who sold all for what he couldn't bear. We built a kingdom, a crown to man, where none had to suffer, but it was all in vain when you bent the rules in your favor. Battles I've fought to keep you safe from harm. I fought the winged darkness, but when I returned the old ways were gone, you forgot all I taught you. You betrayed the covenant we had made and now it's you who suffers the consequence Yet I swore to keep my end of the deal no matter what betrayal you'd do to me. What you refused to share What you received for naught I will let them take until you bend the knee you were unworthy when I found you chained and broken by the tyranny I ended. Now you became the tyrants, I should let them destroy you. But I swore to spare you if you were ever untrue. Together we vanquished, together we fought. But now you'll endure the fruit of your own rule You are unworthy to receive my mercy, but I can't just let you be destroyed Together we'll vanquish, together we'll fight. When I return you to Asternas restored You betrayed the covenant we had made and now it's you who suffers the consequence Yet I swore to keep my end of the deal no matter what betrayal you'd do to me.

They stride forth slumbering, waiting for their deaths to come. What hope remained to them slowly faded away. I remember the splendour, the towering halls of those once my kin. I remember the maidens bright and fair. I admired their wisdom, the strength of their arms, the glory of their king. I admired the maidens bright and fair. Though I departed to a distant realm unknown to me, I felt inclined to return someday. As shadows they wander, slowly dissolving into the mists. their beauty had faded, their strength had withered away All that my eyes could see was death standing in front of me. So cold, so cold were their eyes to me. What was left of their splendour, was all but an ancient memory No one to answer the children's cries. I tried waking them from their lucid dreams, yet noone would heed the decay around them. A man I woke answered my concern with a dagger between my ribs before returning to his dream. the dread that filled me, was naught compared to what I witnessed then As I died, I saw a mist surround the man. A laughter roared when he dissolved into the mist. As shadows they wander, slowly dissolving into the mists. their beauty had faded, their strength had withered away

The war drove our army south to fight an invincible foe. We were left without a choice, but it was our only hope. Fight now, Fight hard, Fight till the very end! Our hopes were dashed when our flanks were crushed. Our blood turned stale and cold when we faced the giants of old. Fight now, Fight hard, Fight till the bitter end! Chorus: And now we're returning home to the lands of our fathers where up high in the clear blue sky the glorious falcons fly We'll find last solace in the arms of our beloved wives just to see our children cry when we lay down. Although our fates were sealed and our dreams lie shattered by the poison that courses through our veins, We burned the bridge on our retreat to buy the time we need. Our only hope is (that) our efforts were not in vain. Yet our fate was cruel to us as the fire spread to the forest nearby. In our haste to delay our enemy / the enemies' advance we've brought our country to ruin. Chorus: And now we're returning home to the lands of our fathers where up high in the clear blue sky the glorious falcons fly We'll find last solace in the arms of our beloved wives just to see our children cry when we lay down to die By our blood and lives our families are spared to set sail towards the distant shores of the lands to the north.
