Locked up in cells, painted in the colours of madness In here they dwell, men with insane minds Supernatural powers, are they gifted or cursed? Thousands of psychos, what if their chains will burst? Are they safely restrained in these top-secret laboratories? One step over the edge Then i fell into the unknown My life flashed by, about to die, I should have been scared But i could only smile No sorrow in my mind when i thought Of what i had left behind The end of the fall would be the answer to it all So obsessed with my experiment, I didn't care, so away i went Down, there was no turning back Down find it all turned black Was this the end or was it the beginning? Was i losing it all, or was i winning? When was it going to end, this sleep of insomnia? I longed to reach the state of euphoria The black unfolded like the curtains on a stage I was on my way to the next chapter, page by page Anxious to discover the unknown, so the journey began My broken skull and twisted bones Were all parts of the plan About to enter the world unknown to living man, Amazed i stood before the passage And it was a beautiful experience This mighty rush of joy Fearless i now entered the passage, Without knowing what to expect Undescribable feelings were... running through my body At last i was on the other side, beautiful world, Unfold before my eyes Golden valleys silver trees, I kissed the sky and fell to my knees I broke down in tears, before the sapphire lake so clear Shivering in ecstasy, kingdom of euphoria... forever free The crystal clouds, light green skies, Were floating into each other The diamond sun lights up the ground And lies within the atmosphere The beings here i recognize From home world planet earth But not in flesh, in gleaming art They've gone through the same rebirth To reveal the mystery of life and death Was the point of my experiment Now i was there on the other side, But what was i supposed to be?
