In Dark Eternity

Here she comes, the night, She's veiling the skies. With her pale feet she Slowly descends, With her gaze and crown of darkness. I am waiting in peace, Will she come and take me As a part of herself? Let her dance and spread more darkness. I am that which breathe the deep No longer air nor sunlight But darkened bliss, in this abyss, The embrace of eternity. My story remains untold. I lie here abandoned, dark and cold. A realm of silt and stone. Graveyard of whales and bleachwhite bone. I am falling beneath the waves, Descending into the deep. Seeking redemption and forgiveness, Finding the crushing sorrow. I was cast upon darkened waters, To walk the lightless abyss. The shoreline is a distant memory. A realm of eternal dusk, Where light is a myth, Where I am a relic of sorrow and breath, Descending to the shadowed realms below.

Walk with me through my grief, And shelter me, Under your wings, You are all that I have. Within this forgotten place, Without you, I am nothing. The rain falls upon the vale. I am all but forgotten by you. Walk with me through the rain, We are soaked. In the sins of our past, And this vale, the flowers die. Entomb me within the trees, Let me die among the leaves. I walk beside you - now as a ghost, Upon the frozen ground, Trying so desperately to hold your hand, But I'm vapour. And I see the tears in your eyes, I see your soul - withered and dying. And I wish I could tell you That I'm still walking beside you. The decaying light upon my tomb, The trees hide me in springtime. No words left to say, No deeds to be done, All that's left is weeping.

The rising dawn stings my eyes, As all my bitter tears have dried. O-Pale shade of morning's light. Thy voice a dirge to sundered night. So softly I weep for thee, In this dark solitude beneath, The sunlit sky, My heart lies yet entombed, The dew on the grass An ethereal rite. O’ desolate one, I call to thee, Left there in this deep eternity. O’ grieving shade upon ghostly morn, Daylight reigns while shadows scorn.

In the hollow breath of the ancient wind, Ashes drift, veiling horizons that weep. Scarred earth whispers of battles forgotten, Yet their weight crushes the silent void. Chorus Embers drift in the voids of night, Glow faint against the shroud of stars. They devour me A requiem for swords long discarded Their cries toll in the Desert of Nara- Mur Beneath the leaden sky’s mournful pall, Graves yawn wide, devouring the sun’s descent. Rivers, once red with the blood of kings, Now blackened veins coursing through despair. Time bends here, a coil of sorrow and rage, Stretched thin across forgotten eons. The wailing of specters dances in still air, Their dirge weaving threads of eternal regret. Embers writhe in the marrow of night, Glow faint against the shroud of stars. A requiem for swords long rusted, Their echoes toll in the cathedral of desolation. Mountains fall as shadows rise, Contorted sentinels carved by war. A thousand cries coil in boolsoaked dusk, Each a shard of torment, each a breathless plea. Fading light of the embers gone, Consumed by the black tide of infinity. Only silence remains—vast, unyielding, The war’s last breath, an eternal sigh. And the stars devour me.....

A hymn of shadows, I cry out from the lightless abyss. O' heavenly Father, strong to save, I breathe this void within. In my dark eternity, eternity, This prayer is my plea I give to you.

Time heals so slowly, The years begin to decay. The throne I once reigned upon, Has fallen into the sea. Whispers and dust on the shore line, Rust in this dark eternity, She no longer waits for me, On distant shore. O' my darkened angel, My lost Lenore, I have lost you, Forevermore. O' my fleeting wraith, I long for your embrace.
