Essence of Existence
Eternal and mercyful God, and mercyful father of ours! Torments and heavy troubles that came upon me, torture my soul greatly. But since it's a part of Your agenda, I readily endure. Every one of my carnal sufferings and griefs I patiently endure as a redemption for my sins. Please, mercyful God, give me patience and will, to endure everything the way You want, and to save myself. Amen

In Abysso- (Greg) Shadows from the deep — endless forms ebb and flow before me, the silence deafening, and I breathe saltwater. The surface is but a memory, a vapor, a whisper of sunlight. Yet where chaos should be, I am at peace. No death, no life — only existence among coral tombstones on the seafloor. Endless forms, shapes of creation. Yet a structure arises Out of her abyssal majesty A vaulted dome, alight with fire That burns even in the black Hooded faces from behind stained glass behold me As i drift to them As I drift to them The deep is deathly calm Soundless, formless I surrender Their voices echo within my mind They accept me ( Tehina) I have been given life once again Given penance and grace over grievous sin Shrieved of my words and my thoughts I enter to the realm of the divinely wrought And all my fears and all the tears i have wept All the blood I have shed with secrets I have kept Have dissolved into the endless deep And all the words I now write In storm and swell, through starless night Darkness fell — yet burned so bright My fractured soul is now alight

Your last winter (some sentences are borrowed from an Emily Dickinson poem called “ Hope is a thing with feathers) Verse-Tehina Hope is the thing with feathers… That perches in the soul And yet to the soil, it’s tethered Its body lies dark and cold It fell from grace one winter’s day Wings sundered and undone It flew so many times Yet hope and the earth are one Sweetest gale is heard When blackened tempests form And fierce must be the storm of storms To break what keeps us warm Chorus-Greg I’ve heard it in the chillest land And on the strangest sea Yet never in this desolation It asked a crumb of me [In the coldest lands I heard it On the strangest sea alone Still it sang within the darkness Bridge-Greg growls, Tehina-cleans It asked — Nothing of me Nothing of me Verse-Tehina Through broken halls of wintered stone Where dying whispers breathe Ghostly wings still split the mist Beneath the air of grief Chorus-Greg I’ve heard it in the chillest land And on the strangest sea Yet never in this desolation It asked a crumb of me [In the coldest lands I heard it On the strangest sea alone Still it sang inside the ocean of silence Still it made its throne Bridge--Greg growls, Tehina-cleans It asked — Nothing of me Nothing of me Interlude No darkened night can devour you In this dark eternity The forest is rendered silent Still you call to me I heard an echo in my tears Not since the living years Your voice a song, such sweet refrain The earth now lies silent

I found a silence—feathered— Where morning would not sing— A small arrest of Heaven Beneath a broken wing— No witness but the shadows That knelt along the ground— The Earth received it softly Without a trumpet’s sound— I carved no name in stone or bark— The soil itself would know— That Something brief had touched the sky And chose the dark below— The Bird had read the Psalms of Wind And finished every line— Then folded up its borrowed Breath And left the work to Time— If God keeps census of the lost This one escaped His pen— A life too slight for Judgment Day Too true to die again— So let the moss pronounce the Prayer The rain intone the Bell— A nameless grave—a fallen sky— Where something holy fell—

Verse I I am numb — time crawls through marrow inside this breathing tomb. Broken vows lie rotting in the womb of the unseen. Verse II I loved her once — she turned to absence. Mother — I loved you without measure. Verse III I am dissolving. Time refuses motion. In this realm of withered fields and splintered glass that cuts without sound — a sepulcher unending. I loved her through the poison we became. Verse IV O cathedral of stone — dust of forgotten ages falls as the earth exhales her long grief.

Twilight falls Upon the Desolation The shoreline is leagues long past The bones of the earth cry To an indifferent sky The air is parched with grief And i kneel before her shrine I have forgotten some of the years behind me Time slips further away And yet a memory of her Has come to light Telling me of shadows that still remain The clouds bleed crimson And the sunlight takes a final breath The aeons lay still As the dead in their timeworn tombs Embraced by a stillness of the grave Yet I am a living witness to grief I long to sojourn To another realm Perhaps to find her Perhaps to seek silence O Deso-late wretch! O- Decaying flesh I long for release I long for peace! The stars devoured me I am one with the Astral sea A ghost no longer bound to flesh A wraith no longer trapped in light This new realm becomes my fortress I take solace in its beauty I take shelter within its majesty I wander no more For I am home…..

Prayers before the Abyssolith My soul bows down in sorrow My eyes darken with grief My strength and hope have perished We are broken beyond repair Yet — forever moving forward Lamenting the existing air Time, waits again And shifts through the earth And the earth crumbles to the sea Yet, the hadalpelagians Still live in this dark eternity I stand before the monolith Its blackened shape beckoning me A nebula within its tearless surface Voiceless, faceless, wordless It still calls to me Interlude The Weslyan Covenant Prayer I am no longer my own, but Thine. Put me to what Thou wilt, rank me with whom Thou wilt. Put me to doing, put me to suffering. Let me be employed for Thee or laid aside for Thee, exalted for Thee or brought low for Thee. Let me be full, let me be empty. Let me have all things, let me have nothing. I freely and heartily yield all things to Thy pleasure and disposal. And now, O glorious and blessed God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Thou art mine, and I am Thine. So be it. And the covenant which I have made on earth, let it be ratified in heaven. Amen. -John Wesley Behold Orion — she suffers stilll Rigel fall and Saiph rebelled Yet the galaxies bend to her will Praise be to Orion! Her wounds are cut so deep The demons and infirnihm mock her Yet she will make them weep And flee the lower deep My soul bows down into dust Where echoes of war still remain Blood shed on sacred soil Dissolves within the falling rain I gaze into the monolith Its fallen shape upon the shore Its runes carved with in it flesh tell me of a time When joy lain abound

A offering to thee In this desolation I exist even here When all light has decayed When all hope is withered I call to thee O ageless one Within the lower deep This existential uncertainty As the stars have devoured me You are the ocean of silence As i stare into the abyss It is in you i find purpose It is because of you- I exist You embraced Orion And carried her through grief And the sea gives up its dead Our souls shall be released Communion of the Desolate Broken flesh, the crucified The blood has been shed for thee For thee, thou hast died Dusk before the monolith I see no sign of the throne Just whispers of the shadowed one Floating on the briny glome
