Maybe I’ll be alive – to witness- your demise. When you pushed us aside – I kept it all – I kept it all inside. For years I -couldn’t find - an exit -from this pain. But now I – I hold distain towards you and your way of life. We had each other – to depend on – the times that we struggled – the times we were lost. We found our way no matter the cost. We took the path – most don’t take – a promise that I won’t break. Those sleepless nights – we wasted --on something that’s not- truly worth our time. Oh! Never forget the ones we lost. Always remember at what cost. If you can’t hold them in your arms. Then you hold them in a higher regard. Don’t turn the key and lock them away. let them live. In your memory. Keep them alive. Perseverance is what you lack. get back in line like the rest of the pack. Deep roots cannot be frozen - from the darkness of life. Clock is moving. But you’re standing still. Violence of action. We walk through the blood we spill. You can’t get the time back – that ship has already sailed. I’ll work my plan –to justify a -means to an end. Don’t let it slip through your fingers – like water from the ocean – feel this out. Tear it down - and rebuild again. Nothing is carved stone – books are yet to be written. Weather the storm – but nothing is given. Sometimes my patience runs thin – I keep my anger within.
