Invisible Places
The scribbled lines from years gone by A theme appears the same for years I can't believe I haven't changed The dreams and tears just re-arranged And the rain it keeps falling down on your head An so many words that can never be said Now the days go rushing by I sit and wonder why I wonder why I've spent the money, I've spent the time And now I live my life between the lines Another day to throw away I'll just write down what I cannot say I'm going to change, I really will There comes a point when you've had your fill But the sun it keeps shining down on your head It lights up a world from all that you've said Now the days go rushing by I sit and wonder why I wonder why I've spent the money, I've spent the time And now I live my life between the lines I have a secret that no one can know I keep to myself so that nothing will show I've locked it away and will never tell It's what keeps me going, you know what gets me through hell

Come in from the rain, lose the thoughts that haunt you And keep you in the cold It gets warmer in time Sit beside the fire, the fire it enlightens Warm your face and hands, things are not that bad Turn the other check but don't forget the past Your mind's open but you're outta your head Your face shows it despite what you said You've lost pieces and forgot what you had You had them all You have them all Your mind's open but you're outta your head Mystery on the rain, empty sets provoking Memories once again, of a distant friend On this cloudy day, let me twice remove you To a different place, a place where you belong Through a different wind, your words cannot go on Monday life is a mystery, Tuesday it's all figured out Your mind's open but you're outta your head

Take a look behind the sky When you feel you're out of place Then you'll find you're free to fly In a perfect space Write your story, close your eyes Words will come to you Nothing ventured, nothing gained I know it will ring true Think of the hours you spent doing nothing Looking outside, all you fear is your life passing by Look to the stars very far, just keep searching Clearing the glass of your own private window in time In the end you'll make your mark But something still eats at you Realized the past is past But there's still much more to do Starting places once again Familiar shots ring out Listen to the wind again Can't wait to leave the ground Spinning endless circles, dancing to the sun Spinning endless circles, dancing to the sun Now that you have found your light And in every night you shine With all the stardust in your eyes All you have is time The path before you brings new life Feeling lighter than air Dance across the star room floor You haven't got a care Dancing to the sun

Everything you need to know is right before your eyes Every blade of glass is numbered, infinite disguise Destination, future, past, now you realize that time just flies Everybody dream along, everybody dream away As you wish it's played for you Every song that can be played Ohh has it crossed your mind Ohh it's of grand design Only if your eyes could see beneath the dust and tears Nothing left but broken glass and things you cannot hear Unless you try Shadows in the way, a fading twilight sky Makes me wonder, makes me laugh then it makes me cry Every note, every sound, that you play, that you hear Now pretend that every. The love of love, just disappears Life in forward motion Take a page now from your history Have a look and tell me what you see Does it seem that you have found your peace When you believe, we assume release Everybody sing your song, everybody sing today As you wish it's played for you Everybody dream along, everybody dream away As you wish it's played for you It's of grand design, it will blow your mind, it's of grand design

Brushed away the cobwebs of my childhood hopes and dreams Packed them in a suitcase and I headed across the sea Nothing else to guide me but this tattered magazine I read about the music that still means the world to me But I surely know Which way I wanna go Inside my head I'm indisposed I need to be transposed One perfect moment That one perfect moment There's nothing left for me here, frustrated middle age I can't pretend I'm happy and god I miss the stage It's time for new adventures, and it's time for me to be Everything I planned on, hope it's not too late, we'll see

The morning brings a new beginning Gently shining brightly through your windowsill Set upon a clear vision While you are just endless motion standing still At the edge of understanding Dancing madly towards the dawning winter chill Drifting deep water Lost in the hours Hands on the compass broken by heat from the light All in all what are we looking for Beyond the reach of memory A hidden place that only your eyes can see Bringing into brilliant focus Only that which is and what will never be Passing the hours Knowing that everything is alright Sit in the garden Watching the colors ignite All in all what are we looking for All in all it's just love nothing more You've lost your way, to a brand new day If you read the signs, they will steer you right You seal your fate in this empty space And there is no lie in your line of sight In the end, all the love we spend We'll find a new word Begin again, love will never end It just gets bit blurred

Far too much time, that I just spend on my own I'm just pacing around, what I call my home Got all the things that I'll ever need Got enough toys, my old magazines One thing that's missing is someone to share in my life Turn off the TV and just go to bed Maybe tomorrow will change If I can sleep, well that would be nice Maybe I won't feel so strange I still have the hope and i know in my heart There's someplace that I'd rather be I'll keep in mind what tomorrow might bring A new way to see what I see There's no end to all new beginnings There's no end to begin And it's wearing you thin, you begin A book needs a page to be turned The story won't go anywhere Forget everything that you've learned A live on the streets millionaire Yes at times it's bittersweet, and at times there is no answer Other times, a circus in your mind When it's all been said and done, and you finally get your answer Realize you knew it all the time, oh yes you had it all the time Heaven sent and everywhere, truth before your eyes All the world is just a space, the universe decides With every high you've got come down, but only just for a while The challenge of balance, a cross we all bear Sometimes it's not a fair trial I still believe that you don't have to sleep in that old bed that you've made Pick yourself up and get on with the show, your life has just been delayed
