Open your eyes and our world in despair People in need and seems no one really cares Should be more careful with the lies we consume Media takes over, humankind is confused Paradise lost due to war, hunger, greed, disease Corruption, lies, mankind tearing at the seams Poverty rooted so far deep in society The tyrants must be removed from within Entire ethnic groups today feel oppressed Due to their culture, creed, beliefs and their skin We are not much different, one another can’t you see? Let’s end the killing, we must coexist Paradise lost, could we live without any regrets We must be quick to correct our mistakes Our world is upside down, all is conspiracy Who is telling the truth? Who will we all believe? Apocalyptic terror, descended upon us We need to work together, or will be our demise Lead us to the promised Take us to the promised land We must be willing to make the needed sacrifice. Only then can we create a sense of human pride!
