Landscapes of rubble and corpses clouded by dust and flies Scattered rifts in the earth, relics of tectonic fury Breathing sulfur and pestilence, the air is foul and dry Ruthlessly, the die has been cast: sentenced to adversity Broken Fractured Shattered Awaken amongst ruins Crawling in clod and dust Amputated and helpless Forever wounded to the soul Missed Death Bonded To Life Broken Crippled Forsaken In this hellhole Dispossessed Of bodily integrity This ultimate trauma Took away your autonomy Forever scarred Stared at with pity Gaze of sadness Always in need Beggared by men and now by this earth in this burned paradise The only way out of this rotten state; the feeding hand of hypocrisy Taking back more than it will ever give; false benevolence Fabricated helplessness making you liable for your misery And this tragedy
