Facing silence With this grief inside I long to sense Close my eyes Feel the hands of time Inner turmoil Fighting every inch of the self Immersed in torment My voice has been sucked out of me But all I ever wanted was peace I long to sense I close my eyes Let the light shine through all these walls Let this burden burn in my soul Dive deep down Ease this ache Find the place Coming home (Awakened) I am flowing with the tides I am reaching the shores of light (Healing inside) Dancing with the waves of time Carried by the winds I ride And what are left but open scars?
