Marching Out of Babylon

Awake O Zion! Put on thy strength, The day of wrath hath passed into the land of ago. Those who told your soul to bow, Wanting for you to be trampled: They will taste bitterness, they will drink bitterness. I will pass them the chalice, and not the one of life. I will make them drink and lick it dry to the last burning drop. Awake O Zion! Put on thy veil of grace. You were sold for naught. No more! Go shake the dust and arise. Tyrants spit on my Name daily. This will not stand! You will know my name is The Lord. You will know my breath is fire. I will pass them... I AM the one that speaks, behold, it is I. You will hear salvation call. I beheld him in a dream, waiting where the roads cross. His suit was white, his skin was grey and broken around hollow ebony eyes, like holes in the fabric of existence. When he smiled a preacher-smile at me, lightning set the sky ablaze, In the flash I saw maggots crawl beneath his fragile face. He sits behind you on a molding throne of ravished corpses and misused technology. He lurks around the corner of ”reality”, beyond the realm of rationality. He needs your flesh for his unholy desire. He needs your hands for his filthy deeds. He needs tongue for his deadly bite, his slander and deceit. (He is disgraced, he has no flesh. all that was fair, now twisted and wrong. Evil, unclean, he burns) Older than sin itself, he is the curse, he is the spell. Apostate of hell, all around him is death. He is the beast under your bed, he is the darkness in your darkest dream. He needs your flesh... His kingdom is smoke and mirrors, as hope that dies, where all is death and whispers of the grave. His promise is freedom that turns you into a slave. Take the road to the cross! He needs your flesh...

I turn my back on your values and on your fears, your false safety that is said to justify your ever-present, ever-watchful, artificial eyes. You breed monsters that you never raise your hand to strike, then you blame the monsters for your systems of control. But I see through you, you planned them all along. You manufacture plagues and their cures to strengthen your power. To rebuild your tower. But I will give you what I owe (don’t let the daylight go to waste) The finger and the dust that I return (gather the crowd, depart in haste) As I am marching out of Babylon. A stone was cast upon the forced alliance of iron and clay. Ten toes of foundation was swept away. The sculpture of Babylonian dreams crumbles and falls. The weight of thousands of years rests upon what can not stand. From my ashes, I arise to burn the pigshead and kill the flies. The mountain of God will cover the earth.
