Vampyre Lord
There once descended the chiropteran thirst The animal of all desire and pagan lust The bride whom I dearly loved succumbed that night The remaining silhouette came back to haunt me tonight I've built an empire to trap my own sorrow I am the wolf wandering around your shadow A fate worse than the absence of life I made the night my reason and my wife Mă lepăd de Dumnezeu From the seeds of Belial The fog embraced the sylvian night One more tragedy to feed on my birthright The season of the dead The curse of the Damned

The battlefield may have changed but the war is not over. Is it even worth living? Animals, humans, it's all the same, The laws of nature: Kill or be killed Feed or starve, take or get taken.... The notions of good and evil are just a blur A code invented by moral which is itself subject to doubt. What really is evil? Is it evil for a snake to swallow its prey? Is it when the less fortunate of the brood is abandoned by its tribe? Is survival at any cost truly a reflection of evil? And who set those rules in the first place? Is it God who allows this cycle of suffering?

Walking the same path for centuries Nothing really changes, the face remains distant The steps are monolithic It is the law of the nocturnal A beast among humans and a friend of the night Animals fear him all the same His thirst is never-ending The same old tale with a twist of the neck The same old fate and nowhere to return
