ONSET OF WYNTAR
*blue fires pact*

Far in the north
far in unkown lands
old man‘s wyntar

Welcome Boreas in my reich. Come Boreas sit down at my cold fire. The glimmer, the smoke unseen...
Boreas my old friend, the time has come we have to leave.

A deep sleep falls over the land. The rivers stilled - trees dead, the nature bounded.

With my breath the world becomes white. When my hands reach the earth everything dies.

Voices of the woods hushes away. A dead valley
hush awake

Come Boreas unleash your
snowbreath. In here and now.

Now the nature sleeps.
In here and now.
Here we stand like trees in winter.
The magic of the trees in winter
unknown

TRANSLATION

Commotion in the deepest North, high up in the realms of perpetual snow. The frosty companion is descending from the hightest top down toward the bottom of the mountain where his fortification awaits the arrival. Stiring the fires, the icy halls radiate in deepest blue; it is cold fires Father Frost fans for an old friend solely.

IM WINTER
*written by Georg Trakl*

TRANSLATION

The acre shines white and cold.

The sky is forsaken and vast.
Jackdaws are circling above the pond, while hunters withdraw from the forest.

A silence abides in the treetops.
A fiery glow escapes from the huts.

From a distance, sleighs are jingling few and far between
and slowly an ashen moon ascends.

A deer gently bleeds to death at the marge, and ravens purl in bloody kennels. Shivering reeds yellow and stringy. Frost, smoke, and a step in empty holt.

SNOWSCAPE
*the birth of all colours*

TRANSLATION

Thus sheathes white splendour the lands. Oh, how delightful the glisten. Watching the ever so white giving birth to all the colours is but bliss.

Appearances are deceitful though. As Boreas covers the world in white gloom.

WHITE GLOOM
*inspired by the winter poetry of Georg Trakl*

Drowned in a world of one colour | Announced by a thousand trumpets in the sky, Til no more bells chime

Avalanche!
Between the woods and frozen lakes - Boreas whispers:
The world shall be covered in white gloom

Boreas whispers:
Hide the hills and hide the woods, the rivers and the seas
snow, ice and rime

Avalanche!
A silence dwells in the black Tree-TOps, Slowly rises the moon
the acre shines so white and cold

On a stony hill - a cold body - forgotten and silent
is melting away in the silver waves

Oh! bitter moon your gloomy shelter
Oh! black frost the ground so hard - the air so bitter

Oh! old man – inhale my cold breath
frost and smoke - A step in the empty grove
A monk that fades away - in the darkness soft and dark
The priests escorts the dead - man

In the darkness the wind still blows Through old shafts which are buried
The palate tastest the frost strong spice

The tree of grace is flowering in silver
See the pure light - The glowing of white gloom

TRANSLATION

Behold the frosty bodies! Blue and dead - In the shade of the tree, their lids iced up
Thus wilt night and star - for as long as winter reigns
Nothing shall be green here - for as long as winter reigns
Boreas sends frost and snow - for as long as winter reigns
The old man averts his gaze - for as long as winter reigns
Everything blanketed - under a white cerecloth everything blanketed.
