It's been a couple of days now since it all has begun Something has changed inside me and there is much going on I Just cannot see the world the way that I did before I'm sick and tired of distress, I always worry too much I want to live my days like after one glass of good wine When you're still sober but bad thoughts start to leave from your mind I can perceive every atom of this body of mine It might sound silly but hey, I know at least I should try Flames and fire spitting sparks inside my soul It all seems so right to me although I know... Deep in the forest in a hidden hovel Lives, one with Nature, a solitaire Writing rhymes and poems at nighttime He really leads the simplest kind of life and Doesn't possess much, neither needs more Many years of solitude have made him a sage But in just one second all is gone Everything feels undone Someone has stolen the few things he owned So it begins the story about the thief and the Moon At the foot of the mountain long ago Someone breaks into the shack to rob the old man It might sound sad but there’s a lesson to be learned Right after taking all those poor belongings Runs in the woods the robber, in haste Fearing the zen master and his rage (haha, seriously?) Instead the old man, naked in the cold hut Sits by the window, smiles to the Moon "There is nothing left for me but still I have this glorious view" He looks to the heavens, up above At the familiar light That's the one thing he needs in order to write So this story talks about a thief and the Moon Showing us what it means to be wise When there's nothing left to hold on to look on the bright side Find the inner force in what does really matter Look inside youself and you will find What makes you feel alive How many times did it just save your life? So this was the story about the thief and the Moon And the poet who grasped the meaning of Life Real riches truly are the ones from inside ’Cause they are the only things no one can take away The thief and the Moon!

Another year's gone, hard to carry on This winter seems to have no ending In the longest night we still look for the light To drag us all out of the darkness There's a glimpse of hope for a good time to come If the smoke will run towards the East Let's gather around the bonfire tonight Now go and collect branches and twigs Light the big fire, your past torment's set ablaze Fuel the flames The bad fortune will burn to ashes Dance, scream and shout, make your afflictions fade away Yesterday's just a memory Stay awake tonight, the pyre's alight! It's the end of the week, we're all about to leave To go back home Packed our bags and the gear, it's time for a last drink We've worked hard, still had much fun Everything's turned out as we had planned But all of a sudden we're hearing a noise... Here comes the blackout! The trees are dancing slowly to the wind Is this a zombie apocalypse? Cold chills run down my spine and now it seems The perfect beginning of a horror story Close all the shutters, run upstairs (It is twenty twenty, and this is the end of our world) The hail is slamming on the window, it's loud like hell This place is creepy, don't you yell (We're in a splatter movie, you know how these stories always end) One hundred thousand decibels (And if someone kills us, they'll never find our corpses) Thunder now enlightens the hall, electricity's down Phone batteries are low Icecubes fall down from the sky... right onto our cars Boredom's starting to take hold: I've got an idea for a prank I'm waiting for you behind a door... ready to pop out!
