Dawn breaks But it's still dark Through the ship porthole The stars are shining And the blue sphere glows The narrow cabin creaks Screeching sounds from the dashboards The radio crackles The suit is ready The air is clean here Just like the silence Right there outside Biting cold and indifferent The airlock opens slowly One foot first, then the other A thin metal partition Splits the midst and the pit Floating in nothingness To become one with it Tame the depths too Like an adverse obstacle Breathing sounds are very loud Time doesn't really exist anymore This darkness is so beautiful Yet so unearthly terrifying To be the initial front-runner To dive into the unknown To be the first pathfinder To leap in Terra Incognita

Destiny loads passengers with no boarding card Steers them to absurd terminal destinations Innocuous souls exploited by ambition No one ever agreed to the stoping station Great, immoral, remarkable, despicable Wrong, essential, criminal, phenomenal Not a chance to reach awareness Just being there, breathing, living A beating, loving, trusting heart The horizon is vertical For the unfortunate brigade Future craves for a sacrifice Soft friendly hands, hard hostile hands Device of an epic sad tale That will never be forgotten

Space is a sea on which no ship has ever sailed Vastness to discover along the stellar winds So many exotic ports to navigate to Follow the cosmic tides where no map has been drawn The stars will be the next gods Of the galactic highway Era of a new conquest Settlers of a modern type Farmers of the universe Harvest these fallow pastures Taming these strange fields Where they will set foot first Straddling the endless light Adjusting their visors Looking further, always Galaxies, be their cattle! The cosmos is a farm waiting for its owner Inept inception will return to oblivion The time of the iron grip of men will soon come Follow their progress as they brave their hard way through Adventurers, slowly letting void disappear Unsung heroes expanding the realm of life Armored knights without weapons nor ennemies Cruising through the eternal hollow avenues The cosmonauts shall become Prophets beyond the frontiers
