Gedanken kreisen wild in meinem Kopf Doch Ideen für die Ewigkeit berühren mich nicht Ich kann in deine Augen sehen und doch Begreife ich nicht den sinn, der sich darin versteckt Wie gegen Mauern zu laufen komm ich mir vor Geh nur im Kreis, denn mein Weg führt nur zurück Ich schwimme wie auf einem großen See Umkreise einen Strudel, der mich verschlingen will Ein dünner Grad zwischen Glauben und Verzweiflung Auf dem Berg der Ängste schwimme ich Ich kann in deine Augen sehen und weiß Die Kraft der Gefühle unterschätzt man so leicht Einsamkeit und Leid erwarten mich Und nur die Legenden kennen die Qual Es war wie vor einer Ewigkeit Die Gipfel des Lebens standen mir bevor Träume bestimmten alle meine Taten Und der Weg lag fast klar im Licht Doch dann war Dunkelheit Der Sog schwoll an Zog mich in seinen gnadenlosen Bann Verstrickt in diesen Zyklus voller Pein Verlor ich fast die Sinne Sie schwanden mir Ich war hilflos wie ein Blatt im Wind Augen sie öffneten sich langsam doch Licht konnte ich durch Täler voller Tränen nun sehen Der Sog verlor an Kraft und mit Mühen Streifte ich seinen Einfluss endgültig ab Ich kann in deine Augen sehen und weiß Die Gefühle vergessen sind sie niemals mehr Doch liegen sie nun weit hinter mir zurück Ein neues Lied verdrängte allen Schmerz

An observation, a thought, I'm overcome by fear Like a sign in her face I'm not able to ask Like a growing river of jealousy inside me Rising out of nothing eating into my thinking I know I'm overcome by these feelings It's easy to get into such a whirlpool Like a trap slowly built up by itself Soon these are the only feelings that control me Probably wrong conclusions are buzzing inside my head I see How I'm slowly losing my self-control Slipping through my spread-out fingers like sand It's wrong to regard these things like that I know what I wanna do now What there is to do But it's just a load Burdened by myself You only know you are guilty He is able to understand me I think to know what eyes tell Your miserable thoughts are growing Now I'm looking back and realize That everything was unfounded and nothing But sometimes pain is like water Rising out of nothing and getting out of hand
