As a storyteller I have cheered your kind With tales of both flesh and mind One by one, by spitting out what's Wrong or right, I have exposed my creeds Yet not all the eyes I've seen gleaming In firelight have understood the scenes I paint on that tattered canvas Of your inner desires and dreams (Your dreams...) Verse : Words will fathom deep in trance Let horror embrace them Cards are dealt and bridges burnt But tables keep turning Seasons devastate the world And it's generations You almost had the perfect crime And then you stopped burning Verse : Mankind wallows deep in trance Foreboding escapes them Bodies shaky, senses numb We caught you unguarded Granted with a lust for life And fear of it's dusk It overshadows greater peril - - No ending at all Chorus : Our death was lonely to behold Temperate, vicious and cold We overenjoyed thousandfold None left for the rest Verse : Hunters smell the blood for miles Not that of the hunted Noses tingle, eyes aflame I watched shadows rape them We danced amidst the piles of flesh A whirlwind of terror Our laughter then rang out afresh No realm would await them Verse : Words will fathom... Verse : Swirling chaos feeds The flame of lethal art As words of fine-tuned malice whispered Pierce right through the heart Venom works it's way And seals the pact of pain Furious, glorious Humiliates and maims Chorus : (Clouding the clearest visions, lighting the spark) Stunned and deranged (Stripped of true and false, left in the dark) Limits grow vague (Where the venom drips it burns a mark) Branded and stained (Seductive crutch for which we all crave so much) Worship the touch Of the serpent's tongue Verse : I utter lines of power And watch you gasp for air Times stops, a horde of aeons Is lost inside my lair You think it's passion that attracts me To your twisted tongue No, it's your bleeding wrists And water in your swollen lungs Chorus : (Clouding...)
