Aetherfrost Caverns
The Withywindle winds Her song sings Farewell, make haste, they ride Their hearts heavy Misty, pale golden light In the dark trees Bones, Come forth I wait For you Far beyond the hills The mounds rise Like jagged teeth were stones Monolithic cries Angmar, O great one I haunt for you Fog, rolling up the sky Of black standing stone Like ice, slowly closing in A white sea Alone, calling again Where are you? Cold Breath Of Ice A dark figure standing tall Like a shadow against the stars Cold be hand and heart and bone A frozen icy daze In the black wind the stars shall die

Dark and chilled to the marrow Oh, dreams of the willows Sweetness of the leaves Cold and grave this fate must be Now glows a pale light, green Down in this deep barrow There in the cold Three Hobbits lay Like corpses, eyes closed Backs to the stone A blade rests Across their cold necks A hand raised Hewed and vanished Sword damaged The light fades And memories remain Of blue Three Hobbits wake And song permeates The room Barrow Wight Vanish into the sunlight A haunting shriek In gold, decayed Fades away
