Thorugh a stone paved alleyway man's destiny lies Obsessively driven by his dream to rise high Just before reaching the most radiant thing in his eyes He tumbles, dreams crumble and in tormenting darkness falls to Got back up but the past's brightness is still darkening And the hands which carried everything have turned feeble The unbearable thought of living a meaningless life Is too much for the proud human mind to succumb Is the destiny of mankind controlled By some transcendental entity or law? At least it is true that man has no control even over his own will In the flows of causality Man's destiny is to suffer In the currents of causality To ascend and sink
