I saw places where opposite armies stood up to the battle In shine of thunderbolts flashing Clashing their weapon and amours In cruel strife On his teed, he lifted his sword our indefatigable and invincible spectator In the longed - for revange hour Our foe returned from escape The larger sworness arousing In out hearts When our swords hit their damn shields Which glitter in fire of fight with bloody flame And enemy’s hosts will be crushed filling them up with fear we’ll see the victory’s sign on our flags

Forceful thunder Dark heavens have torn already In the mad battle great warriors are perishing They’ve never though of dishonourable escape Flags pulled with gale the battle roar have unified groan of dying In Encouraging them to fight And stood up our strict master Keeping his sword in the right And he hit his enemy’s skull Without mercy And fair anger Have Surrounded our army …And we defeated hostile tribes
