I have been brought to this life With a radiance in my eyes Bearing hope and belief Sheltered by my protectors falsities But the seasons keep going And the visages wear away These gripping woes A fear I can’t part with Pretend to grow At the end is when I’ll show torn and bared Through the ages now faithless and colder Calloused and cursed All the lessons I learned Only sought to deface me Resolve for none I blame you all Pillars made of the bones Of the ones that changed me Whispers shaping the tone Of the voices that aid me Will I return?
