I had been fighting the tide And it has been far too long While wave after wave Thrashing on top of me The harder I swam The more tired I became The light that shines bioluminescent sand Grew dim as I drifted farther and farther away "Is this how I go?" I think to myself as the tide pulls me farther and farther away Is this my last moment? Will I be seen again? The tide has come for me Pulling me down to the dark depths of the sea Am I doomed to disappear into the ocean?
