Raised in this citadel you see my life Insipid existence, newborn child and wife Repetitious action and continuous work Awaiting my second child's impending birth Tired of security Monotony, mundane Considered self ascension to the astral plane Doomed to this hell It may seem that I'm tied I long for liberation from this wasted life Why can't I see My pain and strife is bestowed by my greed Never to find a contented existence, self-satisfied Longing to fly Adventure lands, vigor, vitality drive Powеrless to rectify I'll die Dеsire for excitement Immortality in tomes Subconscious soon awoken by my chores of home Repair our broken fences Attain water for the child Bestow wealth to the wife's own wishes, taste, and style While idly resting hearthside I felt urge to my bones I found myself beckoned to the lands unknown Desire to leave my homeland now pulled harder than in past Excitement, battles, journeys, enchantments cast How can this be Some unknown power festers now within me It's not by choice Strange emotion silenced judgement's voice Am I bewitched? Can't fight this desire I must explore it Melting my strife I'm alive

Lurking in dark sanctuary, steeped in ancient magic The wizard orchestrates the insidious plan One unsuspecting man, of will and undiscovered fortitude is all that is required to attain a servant of unparalleled power A dragon Man Changed Dragon slave Play the man as pawn A skilled puppetry straying him from sense, leading him to the nest, and force his hand to thieve the egg For a curse most gruesome lay in wait for those who meddle With dragon magic I I am driven by unholy force For my actions I feel no remorse Sеlfless, blindly I follow a path of my own Woods of illusion Desolate fiеlds i roam Strange how I left my home and my family behinds In a search for adventurous life Senseless Need As I yearn to accomplish my deed Still not known, just my own mystery Dragon's egg that which I desire My fate, the egg it will require Why? It's searing in my veins I'll try, for why I can't explain I I have voyaged by land and by sea Battled hard for this trinket I seek Henceforth feel sensation A dream I now chase Awaiting reward of origin untraced Direction, here, though I follow with queries and fear My vocation is eerily clear So I go, heed not warnings or reasons unknown Can't take failure or returning home Path is set, onward I shall go This new power Feel as if on a throne My quest learned through source unseen Fame possessing that of a king
