On the Very Verge
Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth The old unwritten law of justice It's all about vengeance A man, a nation, whatever it may concern Look at yourself, from an outside view Are you the one you really want to be Compare yourself to your best enemy Are you really more than reflection of him Absorbing, from the sources of hatred Gaining power, from the wells of fear But what is really the difference The edge remains all too blurred What we do not understand, we fear What we fear, we destroy So, who are you really fighting Yes, yourself and no one else Revengeance The law that raised our civilization Will probably end it too Look for the future, you'll find the past Impossible avoiding, our end is at hand Revengeance

I Now, what is this? For the first time in my life I see thing clearly I see myself, I see my whole life And I am actually nothing Nothing of that what I thought I was I'm just another shadow; Predestined and pale I'm sucked to my fate Like metal to a magnet Millions have lived my life before me I seem to be running into a dead end And I feel like throwing the race II But as my thoughts twist and turn Black becomes white, night becomes day I float in fog, over deep seas And I don't care about the goal As long as I avoid hitting ground I feel the eyes, I sense the demands But I'll keep my rope untied I'll keep my rope untied Maybe I'll sink, maybe I'll fear But I will never drown I will always be able to breathe (Even deep down underneath) As I sink, some will cry Many will be disappointed A few will ever understand The few will never judge For who's to decide my life Not the people of eyes None of the traditional rules Made by followers and fools The generation of degeneration To decay is to rise I'd rather be black than grey I'm rather black than grey
