A forlorn memory Lost to resentment Yearning hearts pleading For the end to bereavement A drudgery dirge Spirits stray beyond the path of death Grief resounds amidst the toll Cerulean tears Weeping antiquity A rite beyond Ceremonial divinity "We held the weight of sorrow And succumbed to a bitter pathos Defeated, we yield. Our lineage ends." Burning pyres reflect the night Ochre fires caress a lost twilight Lain among ashes of gods The aftermath takes hold The perceiver bears witness This final pallid hour A knowing regard, memories sealed Jade towers stand in a mournful guard Ripples of loss flow through ages But the fruits of our deeds Will be unknown.

Within a vast shroud of mist Frozen below landscapes old Knowledge unearthed Of subsequent ills Spectres witness the cycles of history With scornful heed for lessons never learned Befallen aeons in transcendent mythos Fallen kin evocate malign treachery Shadows birth, dissolution of light Every path now leads to despair Hear me Dissent Father Will you answer? Through sea of conciousnesses Beyond lie astral realms Pass the gate-less gate Infinite span of nothing Realize the truth of self Or lack thereof Reality's masque veils This profound revelation Gaze upon reflections of thought In emptiness I find repose And wander vistas vast Light's dance, now comes clear Hearts of stone, bleed once more To redeem failure of ancient past I comprehend millennia long grief Stream of souls ever-flowing With no gods to stem the tide I prepare to embrace Helpless endeavour, bearing such sorrow

Grievance - bitter cold, shalt lie within your soul Shattered swords, broken bonds - a scene to behold Beneath a tumult sky - the slain number vast Such a sight, not meant for human eyes Solitude's sunder Despair's epitaph They fell in droves My fallen command Honour trampled And fades to dust... Barrows raised in lands beyond The ghosts of kin whisper sorrow Buried tales - broken souls Empty thoughts and dreams of home In these final moments We remember defeat The call for reverence But our cries have gone Unanswered

Desire for utopia A wish beset - by cold denial The fires of empire Gleam beyond - our Rightful realm. Though thy light Won't shine eternal. Ashes, dust - a tragic demise. Condemned - To sempiterna loss I embrace sovereign end. Eternity calls Death's gate beckons Alluring reprieve The promise of solace My soul falls into ruination In my wake I yearn to repair Upon foundations fell Past bridges burned Here I stand Broken sword in hand My shield is smashed My armour is torn After all is done I still yield Solemn vow Laid on deaf ears On the throne you now reside New heir at your side Kingdom forged from despair Built upon the bones of hopes.
