We began the travels to be free With dreams to start a new world and Never again, become a slave to the will of kings The vessel brings us to freedom Hopes are alive; our thriving prospects are within hands of time Storms crash on the bow Clouds surround the empire, as lights flicker on Skies crying throughout The wind threatens our being, as waves rumble on As we sail across the ocean And the storms begin to clear As the streams reduce in power And the stars begin to gleam Weeks have come and gone forever Land is nowhere to be seen Our fragility is frightening And the smell of death is potent, and gathering near Rays beating down, air warm and dry As we strive for land Bodies are frail -Will we pass the test Leaving for dead -Will we lay to rest Will we rise? Time on its way? Will waters fray?
