I roam in the limbo of my ego I've known faces within me I transform with every passing moment A perpetual stranger, emotions swarm Lost in this vast sea of nothing Searching for a self I've yet to see In this existence, I possess only soul No rest for a man who's whole I see the world, but not myself, A mere observer, detached creature Emotions flow, but they don't define This is who I am, sublime That's why I read, like a stranger My own story, as if turning pages Uncertain of what lies ahead Forgetting what's behind, memories shred I'm a landscape, unique and unknown Witnessing my journey, on my own Wandering through life's varied scenes But here I am, I can't feel me.
