Future to Come

Infinite days that I can't count no more Spent in four grey walls As chains encircled my soul I had lost contact within myself And I couldn't feel no more Wondering where I have been Forlorn, alone Asking myself if this is all real And I’m awaking now To hear the call of the wind Whisper to me And I can feel again The warm sun shining on me I am finally Still alive In the emptiness and darkness That have surrounded us all You can dwindle in futile days But this is not for me I'll never let the greyness Overcome my fragile soul I'll never allow myself to give in In no cage I'll be confined No more darkness In all that I feel I’ve been running away from those walls That suffocate me No chains remained unbroken Now that I've freed my soul Never again imprisoned Meaningless days that I can count no more But now these grey walls That have encircled my soul Crumble and shutter to pieces I'm finally alive again My inner self I've set free In connection With a higher sense of creation

Demented litanies, an echo in the dark Hopeless voices are screaming from the frozen barren ground Souls exiled to an indifferent inferno No empathy, no last goodbye In the sky dark ravens fly No matter how long the night can be Before the dawn the darkest hour Ignite new dawns To ease the pain and silence the psalms Of chariots in mourn Breed new hope A spark arises among the ashes Of these cold days For all the lives and dreams that vilely you denied Rising up from the mud, unbroken, unbowed A hope forlorn Shall be our strength Dystopian tongues' deceit Never to be heard For all the kin We buried to dust On no stone their names were written, was their loss all in vain? Ignite new dawns To ease the pain and silence the psalms Of chariots in mourn Breed new hope A spark arises among the ashes Of these cold days Scattered pyres connect to infinity Thy prophets fall Their false idols worshipped no more Aware of our past We stand our ground for every life forgotten All those who fall Face oblivion Breed a new hope Rise above our foes

Woke up in empty lands What am I doing here? Astray, hopelessness leading me day by day Lights, vanished from my path Sight, obscured by clouds As in a sempiternal night I feel no connection to space and time Chaotic streams arise to take me far away from home Towards a black hole I feel so hollow, how could this stop?
