A Nightmare Story
Intro: Night after night a man dream the same dream without understanding the meaning of what he is being told. Strange dreams of portals and silhouettes of creatures dancing in the shadows. But as time goes by he slowly starts to see the pattern, the creatures are calling as if they want him to enter the shiny door that sometimes can be seen during his sleep. Piece by piece he finds out that there is a way to enter the gate but what would the reason be? Slowly the desire to find out what dwells behind these doors becomes too big for him and he decides to take the step into the unknown and get thrown through the portal into the world of Grimbor. The dream keeps coming back So clear but still confused and It really makes no sense Somebody tries to tell About a world of dreams And the gate that leads to this The answer is hidden,exploring the maze of my mind Finding my way, so frightened of what I might find Now, the gate is open wide Voices cry, beware you may not find the way out You enter the world of Grimbor the great "You will find that dreams might be so real you can die this is the work of Grimbor the great." Intro: Confused and afraid he finds himself standing in a huge corridor with a countless number of portals on both sides. After a while when his eyes get used to the feeble light that reigns within this space he can see, to his surprise that it seems like if the portals are hanging in the air. All around him stars are shining, and a bit away it looks like a path is winding, steady leading up, up, up... After a moment of hesitation he decides to follow the path and with trembling legs he begins to walk. As he approaches the first doors, suddenly a voice can be heard. Intro: With the mirror in his possession he is determined to go on with his quest and as he keeps walking the path he feels that something is calling. Something strong, something strange and after a few steps his feets refuse to obey as he slowly falls into a "dreamsleep". In that moment the spirit leaves his body and it enters one of the dreamgates while his flesh keeps lying on the ground. It enters a great darkness but suddenly a light could be seen. It comes closer and it is speaking with a female voice. I can see her now the smile upon her face The shadows disappear as if they fear for their lives You must follow me now - I will guide you on your way I will follow your steps - Wherever you may go Underneath a clouded sky we fly I'm so alive Then I hear their voices once again they sing to me Please don't go don't follow her voice Inside your mind dwells the treasure you seek, that only you can reach We get nearer but where are we really going? The emptiness covers my sight. Intro: And so it happens that in the last second our hero wakes up. The vision of the beauty disappears and with a terrible scream the demon vanish into the darkness. He had now failed to bring him into his own world 'cause it is only there that he can use his powers to enslave a creature in his sleep. Intro: And so the dreamworld fell into a great darkness as our hero met his end in the battle against the dark one. The dark lord that Grimbor couldn't fight because he was not a creation made by the great one himself and as a spirit he had no influence of what was happening in the dreamworld. The dark one was simply a creation of peoples nightmares & dark desires. As darkness falls upon these lands, my heart & soul is embraced So cold as my glow slowly fades I can hear them singing my name once again They are singing for me...
