Dissociation Ritual
From Nothing From the void and the darkness Comes the light Illuminating the path A beast has awakened In the midst of chaos Spitting out life Shattering the silence Without purpose Without meaning Creating what we now call life Creating misery Destruction, hostility Cursed singularity Cursed existence That moment, that first light The infinite void of creation Giving way to meaninglessness The absurd comedy of existence And of coming from nothing Why us? Why must we see what's out there? Is consciousness a punishment? Or perhaps a privilege?

Hostile and arrogant Indifferent, incomprehensible Unreal to your eyes The nemesis of any god Its greatness in the dark Lays bare its true nature It doesn’t care about us, it doesn’t know us We are just the residue of a random event Yes, we are just a mistake It wasn't designed for us It isn't there to protect us We are not its priority That void will not answer It won’t hear your prayers Nor will the stars dance in your favor Nor will life transcend in the end Yes, we are just a coincidence Among millions that happen in a blink You will struggle to feel important But you will be forgotten, disintegrated Into nothingness

Depression doesn't exist When it's part of life The days aren't so gray When you've been in the shit The absence of meaning Is part of the routine But you still get up With the illusion of dying someday Leaving no trace Leaving no memories Without sorrow or glory The passing through this life And just like the universe Without explanation or meaning Life is irrelevant And death necessary Why hold on to life? Why cry for those who leave? Feel fear or ignore Nonexistence toward eternity

An uncomfortable but necessary moment To talk about the oldest mental illness Where hallucinations have taken power And ignorance is the daily bread And while the world shatters into pieces And the sun hides within the mist And hope dies each day And the weight of existence becomes unbearable They give their last breath to their god Blindly trusting in him Despite how absurd his existence is And how ridiculous it is to simply have faith Where is your god? Why don’t I see him? Why doesn’t he hear us? Why so shy? Does he not exist? Small and helpless Naive and gullible This is a lonely world Without divinities, without god

In all eras In all aspects of life We have been space trash Destructive and unnecessary But not only is our existence in vain The universe itself decomposes Self-destructs Implodes between oblivion and dissolution A chaos... Senseless... Total futility... Total disconnection... Consciousness as a curse Knowing that everything will end and being unable to stop it A tangled web between entropy, Madness and despair

We are the shadow of a light The loneliness of empty eyes Lost, carrying new scars While darkness endlessly consumes us Rotting in a miserable life In a universe full of lies Falling into a deep hole Turning every sensation intense and inevitable Tearing through reality Making us feel miserable The infinite ways to die today Where the void prevails out there Embracing this tiny planet And tormenting the existence of the plague There will be no redemption The universe doesn’t know you exist No one cares about you Could you stop pretending this matters? You were born without asking You’ll live begging for death
