Culpable Deceit
Tear down the walls you've built to keep away the guilt you breed, The vast expulsion of a self inflicted horror, It's within reason you sought shelter in your own mind, Never to see the truth in which you seek hide from, You crawl away, Hoping for answers that will never come, but you continue to try, Become the prey, Cattle to feed the oncoming onslaught, Your walls were built to fall in time, Cope, cope with the past, continue to fight, look forward to what awaits you, Go, towards the hand, reach forth and grab, the figure that's come to take you, home! Until we can find ourselves, we must be cautious of, those constant memories, which taunt our existence. Endure, digress and embrace this world, a gift from the elders, a piece of the puzzle's recalled, My mind riddled in embers, the sins of a sacred past, cloud what may become, of this encounter, These words, I hope have been rooted, and within due time, you learn to leave your guilt behind. Cope, cope with the past, continue to fight, look forward to what awaits you, Go, towards the hand, reach forth and grab, the figure that's come to take you, home! Until we can find ourselves, we must be cautious of, those constant memories, which taunt our existence. These words, I hope have been rooted, and within due time, you learn to leave your guilt behind
