Swimming in a sea of dark recollections I saw blood running like an ever flowing stream I was deafened by the nocturnal silence And found myself as the last one on earth Dig deep, rummage through your core The essence from beyond Unearth, open the old wound Your fate is cursed I chose the left hand path As the slaughter of my soul I was sent where no life dwells Into eternity Now my remains are into the grave After a winterlong trek I’m now just a shadow in the deep Forever laid to rest I escaped that realm of chaos And abided all the dreams you dread The spectral sorrows had haunted my soul In a nightmare made flesh Dig deep, rummage through your core The essence from beyond Unearth, open the old wound Your fate is cursed
