Piety & Iron

Communicate with forces Unseen, unknown Shrouds of darkness, garb of fine silk Wrap us up in our fortress The bats now go out into the night And blacken the skies As evil embraces the moons pale light We watch on in pure delight For it is our time The lord of nothing shall not shake us The death of his light Will be our finest moment to conquer And seize their false hold There in the nightsky Our shadows will be cast out on high With the stars at our backs

Blacken their sight And bring forth the seeker Tonight we shall all soon behold And with control Their will bends our lust And we cannot get it back Primitive evil The Rituals of cain Praying to set ourselves free Clothing unfurled Bring forth the girl And take her to the top Rituals of iron Be not afraid Unholy forces By dawn it wanes And in the sunlight Ice illuminates The body lies frozen Saved for this day A cross lit byfire Hangs from the tree Melting the snow as it falls Can't crush the evil We will unleash Into this christian world All the believers Asleep as they live Not knowing to whom to pray Oh the surprise At the end of their lives When void fills their hearts to stay Rituals of iron Be not afraid Unholy forces By dawn it wanes And in the sunlight Ice illuminates The body lies frozen Saved for this day The voice is calling For us to atone The end of days When our crypts are filled With moss and dust The Earth shakes by our will A frozen statue Plagued by rust Will be the first To see the loss Of all human life No tear will fall From it's eye The plants and trees Rejoiced in their gaze For now it is back Never to host life again Of those unworthy Of it's praise
