A blast, the air blazes, And in the jets roar, The launch sequence come to an end. Liff off Slowly at first and faster then, Powerful jets gradually thrust My spaceship into the blackening sky. Just a few instants and I leave behind My immortality lets me understand The whole vessel and its functions, A wonderful machine, Now self-regenerating its depleted energies. I stare at my planet, what remains of the earth, Mother earth, humanity's fertile bride, Now bereft of life, swept by solar storms. No more, I turn my back And the solar system fades away. My choice to leave the immortal gods kingdom, Uruk's divinities, to attend to men's craft Maybe was not such a failure. Maybe... Days and years come to an end And I meet in my travel every kind of beings : Wanderers, colonist, fugitives and warriors, Space travellers from other dimensions, I must be careful, The children are my mission, my purpose I must protect them from cosmic predators, Primordial and huge shaped parasites Driven by hunger and instinct, Beings of pure thought and energy. They enter your mind and create false images, A doomed reality where failure's your only destiny. I must protect the children. Each and every moment, And nothing else matters. The fragile and defenceless future Shall become the cradle of a new humanity, Resting in hibernation for now. I've observed thousand of planets and constellations, My quest is a hard one, Hard to evaluate... But maybe, that flickering light In the blackest of darkness.. Could it be what I'm looking for so desperately ? It might be, now I'm sure, there it is ! I must hurry, examine new reports, Process the new data my sensors are feeding me... Maybe it is our last chance Process the new data my sensors are feeding me... Maybe it is our last chance

My heart is crushed By delusion, By the weight of my failure. I've treated all the roads of the world, I've taken mankind by hand, Leading men towards their goals, But they were always one step ahead. Still I recall the joy I felt when I first saw The smoke rise in the air, Through the green woods, In my primordial past. The past is now clutching the ashes Of my hope, of my dream. I open my hands, and all I see is dust, My mind adrift in history : The great legend of Uruk, when I became its king, And then Alexander who I called friend. I touched by hand ancient Greece splendour. and Rome, A small riverside village, The centre of the world, Republic and empire. Like me, immortal, but never alone. Frustrated by my constant delay, I watched progress and new discoveries growing every day, And men finding new ways towards destruction and oblivion. Maybe, in the end, the great civilizations were aiming for this. Warrior, artilleryman, corsair, mercdnary, king, alone, Gilgamesh. now, the colours and sounds that filled my life are gone, Destroyed by nuclear wars. But maybe, there is still a chance to save mankind, A chance given by man itself. I will rule this vessel and learn to live in it, I will search the cosmos to find a new world Where my race will be born again. Destiny's in my hands, I shall be its guardian. Gilgamesh, immortal and wanderer, I shall leave.

My mind awakens from the sleep, A thunderstorm Overflows with lightning Bolts my brain. My body aches from this Eternal rest, it's hard to move. I feel the warm wind sweep The dust from my body I feel, I feel my flesh No longer numb as blood flows ...Blood flows through my veins, Like the earth That longs for a much Attented rainfall I raise myself. A primordial landscape Fills my eyes, Where lava and poisonous vapors dwell. Now it rains, an entire sea Falling to the ground. I share the earth's greed, Her need to give life... once more. I am Gilgamesh the immortal, My mind is adrift through the wait, Images from my past fly above me. I reflect on my condition of demigod, As I travel among mortal men. I awaken from my slumber on Newborn spring grass, And as I breathe, Immense forests surround me. Now, from high above, I see in the distance pinnacles of smoke. My mind awakens From its sleep, A thunderstorm overflows With lightning Bolts my brain. My body aches from this Eternal rest, It's hard to move. I feel the warm Wind sweep The dust from my body.

The sun is rising warm in the wind, Flags stir with pride. The air whirls, alive in the dust And fragile it withers under the Horses hooves. The armies stand ready, Soldiers waiting, Fierceness in their eyes, Gripping their swords with courage. One thousand men wielding Their shining halberds, Blood thirsty, Flesh devouring iron. The ground is shaking Under the captains mighty And noble steeds. The armies line up Covering the plain. Archers aplenty, On the castl walls, They form a lethal coil. The sun is now high in the sky, The order is given. A roar ! Siege machines open a breach, But the enemy's arrow and darts Darken the air. Catapults hurl their missiles Overthrowing men and beast alike And the never ending, deafening sound of steel Piercing, hurting and slashing. Now the steel no longer bites, While the cry of mutilation fills the air. Thick black smoke covers the corpses, Horror, the one and only fruit Of this spring of death. How much blood may this earth drink ? With rage and despair the castle doors yield. The invasion is like a river Which forcefully break off its banks. The sun is now setting. The dust is slowly settling. A blood red sunset hails The crows arrival To a garden of guts and entrails. They are the real winners in their feast.

Crude and dissonant the laugh Like lightning, illuminating the dark Breaking the hissing wind Accomplices the eyes full of madness Pregnant with the seeds of the hatred They arm with blades the stare Onward is stares andlessly In the defiant duellist and strike the mirror in the face of other They both ambody the same thought and matter gush They both ambody the same thought and matter gush Will the mountains and the valleys Testify that site one day ? Will someone tell those ancient deeds Ever after the soft fall Of lady dust mistress and keeper of time past (Repeat x2) Maybe time itself ? A bell tolls of blood soaked moments And so the sword are raised to the skies With the slaughtering clang Sudden flashes of shining death Tinge the long shadows, shadows sleeping on Those oft beds of ancient rock night immortal Queen life sits down and rests A side she wants for doom She lost her throne, now in the hands Of earthly life value The beaten fighter, hardly stands With the help of his arm. A tear rolls on his lips dry with rage, He sees insoak the barren ground (Repeat x2) The fury is soothed In front of him stands the glorious foe his sword Dancing, like the united forces Of the world in explodes touching the living flesh The joy of victory in his dimmed mind Enter and with a kind, carries leavs on his face The prize of remorse and penitence of vain redemption A bell tolls of blood soaked moments And so the sword are raised to the skies With the slaughtering clang Sudden flashes of shining death They arm with blades the stare Onward is stares andlessly In the defiant duellist and strike the mirror in the face of other.

In the time of the first era of the new age, The lands had lost their names, And still did not have a new one. The holy wars between Heaven and Men Had come to an end, balance was found. But something evil was stalking the peace, You could read it in the elements. While a new generation was dawning, The two queens sovranity was proclaimed from the void, And the newborn peace was torn shreds. Sinde then, a long time has passed, The legend was almost ost in the sands of time. However, it is said that the evil maidens Were born from on the earth impregnating it. The memories recall them as living deaths, Famine and eternal wars. Their thirst for power unquenched Their wickedness was second to none. Now, against impossible odds, Men have regained their valour and dignity. As areminder of the queen's doùain, The temple of pain has remained, Evil's colony, gallery of torment. It's horrible building was made out of baked stones Of bones blood and tears. It's black towers arose sacrilegious Provoking the celestial reigns It's walls covered with gruesome tapestries Of bowels, now turned to venomous dust In it's halls you could find all the torture devices of the world : Spike wheels, ropes, blades of all kind, fire and poison, Everything was a means to gradual humiliation.

At the dawn of time The war over humankind And the angels of heaven Came to an end But the world feel Into absolute chaos and delirium... Righteous victory was at hand At the prize of rivers of heavenly blood Darkness in human life was bound to the eternal. Infernal revenge Was unleashed villages, Cities and realms were ravaged By fires and earthquakes. New diseases found their way Into that craddle of death and filth Thousand of women and infants Were raped, killed and divoured By the demon soldiers infected jaws. Men went mad and their armies disbanded. The angels sword chased away evil, But is bloodripping shadow lingered. During the storm that washed away the scars of war And gave new life to the earth, Black diamonds, Satan's seed, fell into the lake of the world. The moment the stones touched the lake surface Silence struck the thunder's fury and the rain's din, While crimson and red became, the lake's waters Like blood they flowed. The earth underneath the lake was cracked open, Lava gushed out and clouds of diseased vapors filled the air. In this primordial scenary, the evil's princess and cocubines, Hell's war mistress, were born Among the waves, the two bodies struggled to the shore, The earth shaking to the unholy presence, After the moment of their birth, The element screamed their anguish again. The women covered with blood red slime, Ran their lustful tongues over their flesh Uncovering their naked and pale bodies Filled with luxury and pervertion. With them a new scheme of satanic conquest Saw the light Black claws will cut off the new king's wings And the dawn shall come no more.

The hull slashes The water's flesh with ease. The wind carries The perfume of millennia, And it feeds my senses. My mind is finally free From those dark Thoughts that weight down my soul. I am the captain Of a friendly and faithful crew : An inexpert sailor And a wise helmsman. Sure, ours is madness, But who cares ? We already know What we will find, The birth of our dreams, And arent't dreams the currency of madness ? The journey was an easy one, Though very long, And here we are now On the edge of an endless waterfall. The roar of the waves is such that the air Around us is overwhelmed in awe. We head towards the fall and we fly We head towards the fall and we fly The anchor of our fears Now rests on the bottom of the sea And we will sail through the stars And the constellations will be our isles, Space, the dark ocean, will lead us To our unreal and absurd destination, But one that belongs only to us. (Repeat x2) The sails swell, the speed increases, Our courage of steel for a fate of gold. We already know what we will find, The birth of our dreams, And arent't dreams the currency of madness ? High above From my chamber, I admire My legion of warriors, Indomitable killer. In dark contemplation My mind drift away from the stillness Of my ancient limbs Calm I listen to I listen to the advice of my slavish Fearful cursed element I feel, I feel, I feel, the blood of terror Gush through my lips As it flows on my ice coloured hands It forms a stream on the black Satin of my noble pallet like a river of pitch My sight is caught by the grail Symbol of my eternal meal The reflection blinds me And memory of battles My sight is caught by the grail Symbol of my eternal meal The reflection blinds me And memory of battles haunts me Acclamations and hails sound like distant Thunder beyond the walls Distracting me from oblivion and from sleep I see my army in the never ending war Against the celestial host I see ocean of blood where bowels covered waves Crash on strand of broken bones Home to vultures and worms A soul rain of bile cover This theatre of anger and death Not to reveal with its light Horrid cracks tear a fearful heart Like screaming mounths they swallow The merciful disgrace Acclamations and hails sound like distant Thunder beyond the walls Distracting me from oblivion and from sleep They revive my fury and my oath With a nod command I show Then the gates of hell Open to a new era of dominance And the fetid, morbid path that leads To the enchanting world's death.
